We all discuss the potential that graphene has in terms of batteries, clothing, cars, aerospace etc etc which is great, but IMO the greatest breakthrough will be if it can help the cure for those horrible diseases NR says they are also working on. I hope this happens in the not so distant future. Keep up the good work VRS!

I wish I had more funds during lulls like this, but I'm totally maxed out.To me, material news feels imminent, but it's only a feeling.The chart from 3 months onwards is a dream, full of higher lows, and higher highs.This is one of the lows where I'd buy.

How integral is the nanene element in the Zap and Go C Ion cells? If the above vision is fitted with blurred lenses and a watered down version of the prospects, it should still bear the iconic status of “the best thing since sliced bread”. The ubiquitous nature of the battery ensures that.

We have developed a solution to the problems encountered by all the current generation of appliances, devices and vehicles powered by lithium: slow charging. Called Carbon-IonTM, in contrast to Lithium-ion, this technology is based on carbon nano-materials including the ‘wonder-material’ graphene.

The technology and a growing patent portfolio is in part derived from Oxford University, and in part developed independently by Zap&Go’s own scientists. The company is at the proof of concept stage with a number of prototype demonstrators. Our power module is due to enter the production phase in 2018.

Hi sonny, I know most have a far far higher exit figure than £4.00 (re previous posts). Probably too big an ask, but I live in hope that we'll see it this calendar year - positive sentiment can do strange things to a share price - we'll see how it all unfolds.

Our Vision
Zap&Go was founded in 2013 with technology from the University of Oxford in the UK, with the vision to produce much better batteries for the modern world.

The goal is mobile phones that charge in seconds, cordless appliances like cleaners, drills and hair straighteners that perform as if they were plugged in, and electric vehicles that charge in the same time it takes to fill a tank with fuel today.

We are also enabling the national grid to cope with the increasing demands of fast charging electric vehicles. We do this by buffering the grid by storing off-peak or green electricity.

This is made possible by a fresh approach to energy storage. First removing all the lithium and cobalt, so the we are 100% safe and low-cost. There is nothing in our Carbon-Ion cells that can catch fire, no matter how fast they are charged. This also eliminates that memory effect problem. This occurs when you have used your phone for a while, it still says it is 100% charged, but doesn’t last as long. We have none of that electrochemistry going on that can wear out the battery, so we are good for 100,000+ charge/discharge cycles. But when our cells do need replacing, they can be recycled.

The Zap&Go technology is real today: First products will be in stores this year will include a ride-on where the charge time has been reduced from 8 hours to 5 minutes, a jump starter for vehicles and boats we call ZapStart, that requires no pre-charging. For next year we are working on a cordless drill that can be charged in 15 seconds, a robotic cleaner where the recharge time is reduced from 4 hours to 20 seconds. We are also developing a driverless vehicle that charges in 35 seconds.

I don't agree re Neills tweets super7, its a bit of fun imo. It keeps things interesting for investors and if people make investment decisions based on tweets then more fool them. VRS is not like any other company and nor should it be :-)

We don't know what he knows.

He repeatedly has liars trying to trash the company and make out he's a fraud. He quite rightly challenges them.

What he wouldn't want is shareholders reacting to lies and potentially missing out on what he knows.

What we see in news only scratches the surface of what is going on.

Am I wrong in thinking that a lot of NR's tweets are quite teasing in nature and encouraging people to make dieffernt decisions about their holdings?

Is it really correct for him to constantly refer to 'You don't know what I know?' etc etc.

Don't get me wrong, I think NR is a cracking, open and consciencious CEO, but I do wish he would reign in these comments. I don't find them nescessary....
