03/8/2018 14:10 | Re current spread: unusual that we have all day (so far) had 5 MM's on 120 and 2 on 125 inc' Singer. If other MM's wanted the business they could jump over Singer by lowering the offer price (to say 122 - which seems to be what everyone is actually paying to buy). So why don't they? I am no expert and perhaps others here can give a better explanation. However it seems to me that Singer seem to have a big supply and no one else does. They could - in theory - get a supply by jumping over the bid to - say 121. But that will only work if they can then sell them to us for less than 122. So not much incentive. They also have the 'problem' of actually finding customers who wish to sell their shares, and there don't seem to be too many of those. Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1

03/8/2018 13:45 | Pcjoe "Did Neil really sa "tick all the boxes" re recent developents" What Neill said: I'm on holiday at the moment. Everyone's wearing this product and you're sat there thinking I can't believe that these guys want to talk to us and for me as the largest shareholder that is a massive tick in the box for verification and validation and due diligence that these companies want to do this work. That do you? ;-) :') | ![]() nemo19

03/8/2018 12:46 | quick scan of this mornings posts Did Neil really sa "tick all the boxes" re recent developents - If So Nice or Nike as the Eskimos say - souds a good shout Re the Nike/Continental connection someone mentioned - Try Googling "Nike sole Continental" & Adidas market leading soles are all over the search results eg QUOTE "When you go through the list of seven most durable running shoes below, you’ll see that it makes sense as they fulfill most of the criteria explained above. Though adidas sweeps this list clean due to its use of the Boost E-TPU midsole and Continental rubber outsole" Almost inevitable that the likely massive and sophisticated Continental R&D machine is going to be all over our Nanene to see what it can do for their Sportswear Customers & a myriad others dependent on the rubber industry They supply Adidas & Nike (?) it seems and probably others Glad we never gave exclusivity to our latest Collaboree All the boxes being ticked - everywhere - as far as Im concerned | pcjoe

03/8/2018 12:32 | Re Turn, I dabbled in it (15k) the day it dropped with the placing news. A few days later it went below the placing price, so I sold, lost just under £700 so not a big deal in the scheme of things. On the other hand my OPTI have been doing amazingly well of late, i.e. - you can't (usually) win them all. My main holding is however VRS and will be for a considerable time (several years). Cheers - Spike | ![]() spike_1
03/8/2018 12:17 | 42% down now is TERN, and crashing further, nothing to prevent it.I sincerely hope no VRS holders are spread betting over there? | ![]() festario
03/8/2018 12:11 | I've been curious as to the effect of adding graphene to a product, any product, and tweeted the man himself. My concern was that despite all the graphene hype is this going to be an emperors new clothes situation. I asked him if adding graphene to a product made a very significant difference and he replied 'Very Significant' | ![]() molatovkid |
