So each consecutive buy is getting cheaper? These days we never get to see the corresponding trade which pushes the price down.At least with the useless WHI as broker we saw them, just late.

the amount of work that must have gone into it to get us there...well.

(@9:50) Am I reading between the lines too much - is a China agreement close to completion? NR stated the US is his next big challenge - although the US market is a big market to go at, they (the US companies) are manufacturing in China and that one part of the VRS future process was to secure the manufacturing in China.....a RNS sooner rather than later me thinks

Actually starting to feel sorry for the shorters - they're just not getting it because they can't think outside the normal parameters by which they'd assess a company. Many have tried to point them in the right direction but just think they're going to get fried.

Ah well, as Neill said, you make your choices and have to live with the outcome.

SuperG there is something strange going on, because any trades at 123.8p are sells.But.... it's not a price available to me in that quantity. So yes, a fund offloading at mates rates.I can sell 5k shares for 123.8pBut any more than that and I only get 120.5pTerrible inconsistency.

2nd podcast in a row neill mentions 'electric vehicles,' and also today 'mobile phones.' Interesting. Best ellis.

Oh. And from neills comments it looks like the olympic nanene teatray did help bear some fruit after all !

It looks like about 10 buys between 20 k and 50k.

Probably a fund jumping on the opportunity to sell into the volume.

Without that it would probably be 10-20% up.

Indeed, vrs in effect has shelter protection under the wing of a global player. A safer proposition for where we are just now. And it Must be pleasing for neill on holiday seeing this firms products everywhere ! Aimo. Best ellis

"..In this strategy, vrs has the commercial relationship with them, as does the chinese manufacturer. Rather than vrs dealing direct with the chinese. Therefore less risk. And No jv/ equity demands.."

ellisj - that is one of the key aspects that pleased me. That if, say, Nike are relying on a chinese maker to incorporate Nanene, there is no way that chinese company is going to behave in a way that upsets Nike - whereas they might have got away with messing Versarien about if Nike not dictating terms.

For me that is a huge HUGE plus.

China is mentioned, in terms of the manufacturing of products through these prospective us/global players. Relating it to this sports firm; In this strategy, vrs has the commercial relationship with them, as does the chinese manufacturer. Rather than vrs dealing direct with the chinese. Therefore less risk. And No jv/ equity demands. Plus of course, it becomes known by the chinese that our terms are being agreed to by global players. How can they not also follow suit? When the facts change etc. Aimo. Best ellis.

Apart from the details, I felt that overall Neill conveyed his "building a business" strategy very well. His grasp of fitting jigsaw pieces came through and his future view. I didn't need my confidence built, but if I had, that would have boosted it.

For me the PodCast demonstrated that NR mentiones "massive company and we are dealing direct"

Next cam USA "that's where the big market is" and China it seems was pushed down to third and there was no mention of India..............

I have know for some time that the "team" helps the potential customers - how much to use and is it working etc etc and that is big sell......the after sales service.

So we have had a series of deals and now the market wants to see sales so we will have to wait until the AGM for someone to ask that question and the half-yearly report - whenever - which will disclose sales.

If in the meantime there has to be a news release well all the better.

Cheek and any others, my notes. My highlights lost here of course. FWIW:

NR VOX MARKETS PODCAST: On holiday but I don’t switch off - that’s the problem. Am away for a couple of days before next big push, but still lots emails/phone - can’t ignore. Great team now; have MattW, David - but the more people, the busier you get. My background managing a bigger 750 people business than the current just over 100, so comfortable at moment. Really good people now, mentions Steve Hodge from Cambridge as having massive impact. Graphene most of my work now.

Today’s collab with a massive company - a real coup. Last one was via a supplier, this one direct. Big global Co. really wanting to see the benefits of graphene in their products, get the advantage, so can’t name. Really want to get on with it. Sporting area ideal. Want the advantages, can make a big difference. One of reasons did the Dom Parsons demonstrator.

No timescale knowledge, but they pushing us quite hard, taken long time to get through negotiations, with a big legal team, want to protect heavily. Would/could not give exclusivity . Every collab a big piece of work for our team. Want get Nanene name out, always part of negotiation. Not taking all contacts that come, they have to meet some criteria. Starting to get first mover advantage, being approached by big Cos from all around the world but being selective so can focus on with people at Manch and Cambridge. That’s why signed up for place at GEIC so that our lab can be close to the action and academics and strengthen links with the great people in the sector. A new science and don’t know what some of the effects are; can get benefits not anticipated.

Global majors approaching us is a massive tick for validation, verification and due diligence and that these Cos want to do this work.

Yes, in contact with collabs. Making the graphene is now routine. Contact is re results, a lot of tailoring going on. Getting into products is the real challenge, making sure graphene is dispersed, sure of the right spec; improving our specs all the time. Brought on board Chair of ISO panel, and have our own BSI guy, we know what the standards are going to be, we are influencing them to a certain extent via the contacts we have.

Then looking at replicating what doing in UK over in the US - my next big challenge. All those players [think he meant customers] are all there and it’s a big market. But although market is in US we know the manf. is in China, that’s why a 3 strand process: secure manf in China with best deal we can, protecting the IP to make sure not just give the stuff away, look for biggest markets which are EU, US and China and then service them. A phenominal time. Three reasons for V*RS: one of most most exciting sectors as advanced materials to support things people really need like electric vehicles and better mobiles, Secondly, through 14 collabs have shown V*RS the place to come to for large Cos. Third that Neill is the largest holder so the strategy is aligned with shareholders.

EDIT Late now, but for completeness will add the only bit I missed out that "he is on holiday seeing many people wearing it" [Some relevant product, from the context]. Apologies.

hew
