Take your pick on most of those , with the move to electric vehicles tyre wear is greater and as we know that can be improved substantially with Nanene.

High speed railway, lots of opportunities for graphene there and so on. Probably a lot that we haven't thought about but VRS good to go!

Just a reminder of the "Made in China 2025 plan" Trump turning the screw on the trade wars and tariffs is definitely working in VRS favour hence the influx of provinces wanting to do a deal.

What are the 10 sectors covered by the strategy?

1) Next-generation information technology, including cybersecurity.

2) High-end numerical control tools and robotics, which provide China with greater manufacturing efficiency as labour costs rise.

3) Aerospace equipment, which shows China’s determination to be a world leader in outer space exploration.

4) Ocean engineering equipment and hi-tech ships, signifying maritime security implications of China’s territorial claims in the South China Sea and the East China Sea.

5) Advanced railway equipment, which shows how advanced China’s high-speed railway systems have become.

6) Energy-saving and new energy vehicles, which highlights China’s goal to replace traditional petrol vehicles with those that use alternative fuel.

7) Power equipment, which are part of China’s implementation of clean power.

8) Agricultural machinery, which represents China’s advances in producing large tractors and high-performance combines.

9) New materials, which include materials like graphene and nano materials.

10) Biomedicine and high-performance medical devices, which includes China’s development of advanced chemicals and medical equipment.

Wouldn't be surprised to hear something in the very near term , it is fundamental to their plan/strategy. The clock is ticking.

I am sure there will at least more than a couple more RNS's during the next 3 weeks.

A closed period only restricts those on the inside, owners, board members etc ..

Us plebs should take advantage ...........;-) BUY

The good news is if you have a a load of small shorts it could mean 100's of 1000's of shares and fastest finger first of news comes etc for them to exit.

A bit barmy of you ask me as news can come anytime with this share.

Obviously we have a buyer and obviously a large holder has been letting them have some. At some point the seller will run out.

Churn is good and we have had around 35 million in volume since Matt Walker arrived and the buyer started in that week.

So about 17-18 million that have changed hands in various forms be it trading in and out or PIs topping up and the fund getting come.

A percentage of sold shares currently don't exist (aka shorts).

Company can announce news but employees can’t buy or sell within a closed period.

If there is price sensitive information out there that requires an RNS then it will be RNS'd simple as that .

Superg with the blue chip comment - do you mean VRS /companies in a close period can only announce dealings of a certain magnitude while in that close period?

Close periods don’t stop business as usual - it would be ridiculous to put public companies at a disadvantage to private companies for approx 3 months a year.

If VRS have news that should be made available to all a week before the results, there will be an RNS.

TERN, Jeez doesn't it jump around on huge daily swings at times. Low 30s to 46 and back to 30 in no time.

I've been having fun on HVO on the last few days, not for the faint hearted as the MMs are playing all sorts of games on it. Level 2 needed really to get a flavour of the games.

Been busy on a good walk wasted, then some fitness stuff.

Odd isn't it how through the various avenues it's known a number of small short positions ons have been out in place and then suddenly we get a number of avatar registered in the last 2 days posting tripe.

On closed periods, there is nothing VRS can do about it. Sorry Mr blue chip you can't sign yet as we are in a closed period.

So news will flow as normal.

A closed period is about restricting company employees from doing wrong and ensuring fair play for all ahead of company results.
