"Already a much bigger footwear company" is this vibrofoot? Doesn't seem to be much talked about there though. Are things where the long term holders expected them to be at this stage? China etc started talking couple years ago, still no one has made a good enough offer. Hope to be wrong

Most of us are invested in VRS on a multi-year view and it is hard to watch the swings in the share price and easy to rue the potential trading opportunities.

I would suggest that anyone who gets frustrated in this way trades 10-15% of their holding as it will ease the mood!! If you get it wrong and the share rockets you still have 85-90% of your investment.

Only a suggestion and don’t send me the bill for any trading losses! I am in the hold and occasionally top up camp.

Why would he fund raise now when the share price could be a lot higher.

In any case they won't fund raise for the sake of it because the share price looks more attractive. If that option was available why is the buyer getting them in the market.

Not long now until probably 90% for the shares held by the funds have been churned and converted into the hands of others.

Blackrock, Allianz, Henderson (27 million), City Finance, Unicorn, a chunk of Miton, a chunk of Herald, all gone.

Alright, I'm probably overreacting and I'm naturally an Eeyore but still, I don't see why nanene shouldn't be in inov8 shoes AND barefootvivo shoes AND Nike shoes, know what I mean? Like I said, I hope I'm proved wrong, and there's a great reason we don't know about, and I haven't sold a share, in fact squeezed a bit more of the bottom of the toothpaste into my Lifetime ISA this morning, though I wish I had gone with my gut of trading a few on the day the share price went up about 10% on the day the CEO sold some... if only to get more!

Seriously though, don't jump on a LTH expressing a criticism about the company. If we do nothing but cheerleading, the board loses its value.

So anyway, we all know the best graphite is from Sri Lanka, but where are the Molybdenum sulphide and boron nitride mines? Where are we sourcing that stuff from? :-/

Re our recent “mini” order for ear piece speakers etc - can’t help feeling that small quantity orders/ small device & app usage the way to get graphene out there - pound for pound real graphene is very expensive but not if big benefit for tiny quantities - I don’t expect to see 1% graphene loading in motorway concrete any time soon - printed electronics/solar panels etc/music speakers etc - sure - mony a puckle maks a muckle as ma Hielan grannie’s granny might once have - or was it the other way around?...

jkok and jointer, With ISO, BSI, VAMOS and the various committees, I'm thinking that explaining it all properly needs diagrams, flowcharts and a full project management package. I don't doubt there is organisation around it all, but getting ISO approval by year end still seems a reasonable expectation. Unless the approval classifications include for less than 10 layers, saying "ISO graphene" may not mean that much. But I guess it would allow "better than twice ISO" etc.

Indeed deals are being done! I expect test data from Manch/Camb Unis and 2D-tech carries a lot of weight.

Graphite - totally agree. Can't see the gov would be interested if they thought China was worth a few million. IMO they're thinking billions - and that's just one country (albeit a humongously large one)...

Club multi multi. I don’t want to fall out
With the Lth by being to Rampy. But we are working on deals big enough for the government to want to get involved. Matts main
Job is to focus on British jobs and the British economy. The fact that the government thinks that our company can have an effect on the U.K. economy is a big enough clue. I have no intention of selling for 3/4 years. I don’t think many understand what we have here. China India U.K. America ( Dow chemicals) tyres batteries aircraft cars boats trains medical solar panels. Windmills graphinks. Oh and trainers. Lol.

rtj: re your: 'Really thinking Neill's missed a trick here and fallen behind with the pace'.

In case you hadn't noticed, we already have a shoe agreement with a MUCH bigger player. HOWEVER, Neill is not able to control the speed at which that company brings +nanene shoes to market.

In short - give the guy a break - Thank you ;0)

runthejoules - what are you on?! Wow, a small retracement after a 100%+ gain in a couple of weeks and all of a sudden the company is falling apart?!

Seriously, if you behave like that, turn off your screen and revisit every year. Stop watching intra-day price movements with a long term play like this.

I'm very happy where we're sitting and extremely excited for the future of VRS & advanced materials. 100% in here.

Right now I think the running shoes still look sh£te but they sound fantastic. Really thinking Neill's missed a trick here and fallen behind with the pace. However, I hope something massive is up his sleeve and I'm proved wrong. At the moment though I'm ruing not trading the lot, once a-bloody-gain.

Battery - the Versailles Project on Advanced Materials and Standards (VAMAS), the results of which will feed directly into ISO standards under-development are due to complete by June 2018 and if you go to TWA41 you can see the projects on graphene measurement standards. Dr Andrew Pollard also a co-chair on one of the sub projects

I would expect news on ISO end June or in July this year.

Hew I have not been able to find a draft just details of how far it has got. I would agree that as it stands we will not get ISO Accreditation this year. However it hasn't stopped Versarien doing deals as far as I can see?

Just a thought - could he mean glass fibre? that has long been used in the better helmets and would gain lots of strength with addition of Graphene.
