rtj: re your: 'Really thinking Neill's missed a trick here and fallen behind with the pace'.

In case you hadn't noticed, we already have a shoe agreement with a MUCH bigger player. HOWEVER, Neill is not able to control the speed at which that company brings +nanene shoes to market.

In short - give the guy a break - Thank you ;0)

runthejoules - what are you on?! Wow, a small retracement after a 100%+ gain in a couple of weeks and all of a sudden the company is falling apart?!

Seriously, if you behave like that, turn off your screen and revisit every year. Stop watching intra-day price movements with a long term play like this.

I'm very happy where we're sitting and extremely excited for the future of VRS & advanced materials. 100% in here.

Right now I think the running shoes still look sh£te but they sound fantastic. Really thinking Neill's missed a trick here and fallen behind with the pace. However, I hope something massive is up his sleeve and I'm proved wrong. At the moment though I'm ruing not trading the lot, once a-bloody-gain.

Battery - the Versailles Project on Advanced Materials and Standards (VAMAS), the results of which will feed directly into ISO standards under-development are due to complete by June 2018 and if you go to TWA41 you can see the projects on graphene measurement standards. Dr Andrew Pollard also a co-chair on one of the sub projects

I would expect news on ISO end June or in July this year.

Hew I have not been able to find a draft just details of how far it has got. I would agree that as it stands we will not get ISO Accreditation this year. However it hasn't stopped Versarien doing deals as far as I can see?

Just a thought - could he mean glass fibre? that has long been used in the better helmets and would gain lots of strength with addition of Graphene.

jointer, thank you, but that is the Nanotech Vocabulary Standard that has been out for a while. I was hoping for the ISO/TR 19733 'Nanotechnologies – Matrix of properties and measurement techniques for graphene and related two-dimensional (2D) materials'.

As jkok found, the first Draft has been circulated and the comment deadline passed, so it is quite possible that draft has now withdrawn/suspended while comments are being dealt with.

Re timescale, my impression is that there has been confusion about the expected time to the different stages. Neill's "imminent" was re just the existence of the text, and perhaps the deadline for comments in April. Then there will be whatever to the Final Version, then appointment of Test Authorities, then the actual testing. We'll be lucky to get Nanene ticked this year IMO.

Also I seem to remember that here there has been mention of some debate ongoing about how few layers should constitute "graphene". Perhaps that debate was around the Draft. Could be plenty more debate during this "Now Under Development" process!
EDIT: I see that Vocabulary Standard states up to 10 layers. Wonder what 2D-Tech said about that!

Having said that - I suspect they are very busy - with something.

The sole of the shoe in question had a series of stud type protrusions which is supposed to contain some grapheme.
have spent 50 years in the footwear industry and if VRS has anything to do with this event it could be massive,

At the moment I don't hold but will when the fundraising is out of the way
