I suppose that I am overweight too.
The trading update did not contain any banana skins. I am not sure that we will see a surge in the share price, but a modest rise would not come amiss. Perhaps they will benefit from government infrastructure spending in the near term, if they open the purse strings, so that should underpin the current share price. The dividend is chunky at current prices, and is not under threat. On that basis I am not worried about weighting, but I could employ the spare capital generated more productively elsewhere.

Agreed Red, I will however take the decision to reduce my CLLN holding tomorrow on any trading update share price rise. I am overweight in CLLN.

Thanks for the research information on Clln.

Both reports are very disturbing.
Clln management has prided itself on delivering construction projects on time and on budget. The Liverpool project is a big blip.
Hospital cleaning contracts are a minefield. It would not surprise me if all hospital contact cleaners experience similar problems. I was in hospital myself over Christmas and New Year. The cleaners and caterers were not Clln. I thought that standards were very poor, indeed I described the food as 'dog poo' at the time.

Let us hope that these are isolated incidents and not typical.

The CLLN share price over the last two days points to a decent/steady at worst update.

I have had some concerns re CLLN over the last few days, reading in the construction press of delays and problems with a couple of their ongoing contracts. Notably the Royal Liverpool hospital...Such operational issues remind me of the horrors rival construction firms have faced over the last couple of years.

SUS trading update Thursday, price action in the last few wks has been very odd given last results & outlook. Used to be a John Lee favourite, no idea if he still holds.

Yes, I have heard Sus mentioned by a colleague, whom I trust. He has recently taken a position with a view to building a long term holding.

I trust that your business has been doing well. Out of season now, of course.
Have you got over that loss when the agricultural related share went belly up?

Been watching for months, but I've finally done it. Taken a modest tranche of Watkin Jones Plc (WJG). Purpose built student accommodation, same mkt but different business approach to ESP (I also hold), Mkt Cap abt £300m, single digit fwd pe, Div above 5%, current share price abt 119p, Targets vary but 140-160p, net cash, 65% of FY17 already fwd sold, expectations only ''in-line'' but seem pretty good, finals 18jan2017. Sold AMS to pay for it - didn't seem to be getting anywhere - time will tell - must learn patience. pete

So far, it has not one of my better days. I managed to sit on my toast and marmalade, which I had put on the armchair seat before plugging in my lap top for re-charge, whilst wearing a freshly laundered pair of trousers. My own fault for filling the coffee table with papers yesterday evening and not putting them away. When I stood up, the toast fell off, marmalade side down, onto the carpet, in the living room.
I always eat breakfast at the kitchen table, but today I got up late and was trying to catch the market open on TV before leaving for an early appointment.
The vicissitudes of life......

Crude index and yoodle financials driving everything at the moment, I guess, red.

Ta, p. Lots of assertions about BOO, I tested it by:

"Boohoo sells private label “fashion”; products and focuses on having a selection of “what’s currently in style,” somewhat similar to an online-only version of Forever 21 but at a lower price point."
Very different from Forever 21 based on me checking out their websites.

Also, I checked one of the feedback sites - it's small, so not reliable.

I judge it to be assertions decorated by links. Shame, I had hopes of new info.

There may be some concerted action that drives the price down. Interesting.

For anyone into boo it might be worth reading simon cawkwell on the boo thread today. Make what you will of it but it is indeed a mighty tome. No axe to grind here, just info. Looks like I'm obsessed with boo atm but actually I have only a very minor interest and no long term intentions. gl, pete

Ref BOO - FWIW, Robbie/NT suggests he may ditch them if/when they go above 130p. Not sure that's the right decision so far ahead of xmas sales news. But he's usually pretty sharp, and has lots of followers to help him push his picks upwards and downwards. I look in on his site sometimes, but cannot say I follow much of his stuff. Only time will tell us who's right. Have a good weekend all. pete

FFWD is a puppy that may grow into a dog and I am hoping a Crufts champion one at that Peter, but then it is a dream and not really of any interest to most here I think. Some of the other ideas mentioned here are much more sensible & worth a look.
