02/12/2016 11:24 | Some welcome tiddler news after too many quiet weeks - must take a Patience Course. Domino Pizza Poland (DPP) - some good news on franchising yesterday seems to have triggered a minor break out. share price up 19% since July and looks keen to go further. Premier Technical (PTSG) also announced new contracts which is def helpful, although I am only just above break even on that one. Always a leak somewhere in the barrel though - FFWD is still a dog. pete | petersinthemarket
02/12/2016 10:38 | ps The PDX thread is still readable on advfn! Good aversion therapy, PJ. | apad
02/12/2016 10:34 | Increased BVXP (1373p) out of ABC income - the obsession continues! 4.6% of portfolio about 20% up. AGM on the 7th but I doubt there will be a statement. PJ - once established the pattern can go all the way to zero and folks' behaviour does not change. Fascinating stuff. Pursuit Dynamics (PDX) was the classic case (worth a Google). Bunch of 'entrepreneurs' bought an australian patent for a perpetual motion water jet outboard.... The Board made TRAK look like a kindergarten. Oil is interesting. I'm still working on a 60$ ceiling. There is some concern about this being an inflation driver, but I think eurozone instability will trump everything in 2017. You have interesting tastes, mod. Successful, too. apad | apad
02/12/2016 10:24 | APAD Correct about one dimensional markets. Bought some Svt at 2085 fall too exaggerated. red | redartbmud
02/12/2016 08:42 | Dacian, if you're looking for growth, niche company and 6% yield, I got some GAW yesterday, they will beat the forecast eps massively, 100% increase in profit in H1 compare with last year. Significantly ahead statement. Weird products but so popular among children, and very expensive. | modform
01/12/2016 21:35 | Apologies as not constructive and probably off thread, But blondeamons reappearance on the TRAK thread after silence following awful Results has got my back up. Its pretty obvious to me that both he and perma bull 40toolong are one and the same.... The joy of Bulletin Boards..... | pj 1
01/12/2016 13:39 | Perhaps? Will this be priced lower in the NHS only or globally? Not sure they could get away with such differences. I have no idea! | lauders
01/12/2016 12:22 | "GlaxoSmithKline has had one of its most promising new asthma drugs recommended for use on the NHS in England and Wales after agreeing to cut the price of the treatment." maybe this pricing pressure indicator? apad | apad
01/12/2016 11:47 | I'm the last person to ask about GSK, L! apad | apad
01/12/2016 09:54 | GSK becoming more interesting around these levels? | lauders
30/11/2016 17:23 | WEIR demonstrates once more that it is the most heavily geared to the crude price of all my other O&G suppliers. Playing catch-up. Surprising reaction to BREE, red. I reckon the market only concentrates on one story at a time and if it isn't OPEC it doesn't exist. apad | apad
30/11/2016 11:09 | Yes, happy with Bree. Long term hold. Sunny here walking on the beach. Happy days. red | redartbmud
30/11/2016 07:50 | Good SPX acquisition. BREE fulfilling red's expectations. TCN survival order. apad | apad
29/11/2016 20:58 | Agreed Lauders, Epwin appears the stronger option also. I have a buy order in place :) | haywards26
29/11/2016 17:34 | Managed a few Tstl while still around a pound. I never know when to take a bit of profit. Too soon or too late. I read a blog which said something like we underestimate how much a cheap share can go down or an expensive share go up. So true. | melton john
29/11/2016 17:24 | SUN - surgical innovations - would be interested to know if any one has a view? recovery /turnaround situ - negatives would be low cash, and highly illiquid - possible fundraising new mgt but not exactly with stellar CVs - but taking shares (at mkt price)instead of salaries - mystery shareholder with 2nd largest holding of 7% + (N John) - plus possible slowdown in UK/ NHS orders (still accounts for 30%+ of revenue, new accelerated US focus, good products, cleaned up balance sheet | sherylchan
29/11/2016 17:11 | Blimey, H. Fancy remembering that tongue in cheek comment ... Haircuts never lie, they are directly coupled to free cash flow :-) apad | apad
29/11/2016 17:02 | SOU- Certainly one of the better Management teams. If they hit any TCF then each is probably worth £7 per share. Schlumbgerger as a partner though in Morocco is a sign of confidence. Badile in Italy needs to come in with something imo. They could be looking over SOLO or AEX on the other side of Africa who have enormous Rovuma potential on shore, where neighbours have hit multi TCF off shore....... Que 40p! | pj 1
29/11/2016 17:01 | Who knew, maybe you were right about his haircut. I'll have a look at the comments on TRAK.BVXP, agreed it is a good bet, one of my top few holdings. | hydrus
29/11/2016 16:59 | ps TSTL very strong of late. | apad
29/11/2016 16:51 | Simplistic view on SOU, L ---- £4 or 40p in the Spring. I'm asleep until then :-) Too much expertise on the bulletin boards and poring over the details. Must look at this pets thing, H, but still obsessed by BVXP. Posted about TRAK on Scott. I think it's dead, but not lying down just yet. Feeling sorry for fans. People get the expenditure necessary to produce commercial software, from a prototype, an order of magnitude (minimum) wrong. apad | apad
29/11/2016 14:06 | As you know Hydrus - I have been following them and asked questions before. Surprised at the lack of reaction today! Still interested in them, but they would appear to be for buy and forget funds. At the moment I don't have any spare. | lauders |
