30/11/2017 11:09 | This is the point at which we should send P.O.B. on holiday! | popper joe
30/11/2017 10:03 | Fingers crossed. | pooroldboy55
30/11/2017 09:58 | Nice, looks like it's broken a short term resistance, hopefully push on towards 100 for next test. | rathean
29/11/2017 20:20 | Absolutely Polaris good for you. Hopefully at some point you will be back to play in VEC - had a good trade myself today :-) | cityfarmer
29/11/2017 20:01 | Cityfarmer - a profit banked on a trade is a profit. Can't complain with my returns on the market over the last 10 trading days. I only returned to trading in early October and my annual return for 2017 is already hovering around 50%, although that can change quickly margin trading. regards, Paul | polaris
29/11/2017 11:25 | Diesel, I think Numis is buying when the share price goes down, not the other way round. I expect their brief is to cancel as many shares as possible with the £15m they have and keep their influence on the share price to a minimum. | saxula
29/11/2017 10:50 | Strange that on the day that Numis is in the market buying the share price goes down, been investing for years but some things are still a mystery. | diesel
29/11/2017 09:20 | Looks like our new non-exec director has the seal of approval from the market. A strategic advisor with a background in investment banking | saxula
29/11/2017 08:31 | Initially looks like you may have shot your load a bit prematurely Polaris but good luck. Certainly a welcome uplift in the shares let’s just hope it lasts .. | cityfarmer
28/11/2017 18:32 | Well, i took my 2% today (20% return as i'm a margin trader) and moved to other more volatile shares. New news aside, i hold to my previous comment that the share price here will only move +/-5% over the next 2-3 months, at least until the annual results, due to the influence of the buyback. That is not enough return for my capital, once fees are taken into account, and there is no dividend. I'll keep an eye over here, as i have done for many years with VEC/SKP and return to lurking. regards, Paul | polaris
28/11/2017 12:39 | Yep, equal risk of falling through high 80s support but short term to mid-2018 I have a fools confidence. | rathean
28/11/2017 11:56 | Not sure the chart breakout will compare with IMM up nearly 200% since mid September but would settle for any breakout here . | best1467
28/11/2017 11:16 | Jumped in with a modest starting position, been watching for a while but I see capital gain over the next 3-6 months, and a potential chart break out... if you've been watching IMM you know what I mean. | rathean
28/11/2017 10:40 | Yes agree, would not surprise me to see this in the red at end of day. | pooroldboy55
28/11/2017 09:51 | Thing at the bottom of aleg. Love to understand what's happening here, looks like a right battle with the auto trading robots. Whether there is a long term plan to push the price up/down who knows but there doesn't appear to be any big holder dumping and very few trades by PI's. | diesel
28/11/2017 08:40 | What's afoot?? | cap160
28/11/2017 08:00 | After all aquisition and merger eventually looks like combined in Vectura companies have not enough capitalization for FTSE 250! | a1ord53
27/11/2017 21:20 | Polaris nice to see your input always found your posts on Sky very informative.Wish I had taken a bigger percentage in cash in the merger but hindsight is a great thing. Not sure if you are aware of IMM which as moved considerably higher recently but if so would like to hear your thoughts. | best1467
27/11/2017 13:43 | "I presume they are restricted in transactions if any news is imminent" [diesel]. Afaik there is no restriction or close period provided they operate at arms length, adhering to the original criteria and are not subsequently prompted by those with inside information. | boadicea
27/11/2017 10:47 | I think them having a strategy is a bit over the top!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | pooroldboy55
27/11/2017 10:27 | Whatever the strategy none of us are getting richer by it! | diesel
27/11/2017 09:10 | Hi diesel yes all very strange. | pooroldboy55
27/11/2017 09:03 | All very strange, I wonder what their remit was, if to support price, there must have been a humdinger of a battle on Friday. Also, I presume they are restricted in transactions if any news is imminent, as directors are, cannot believe they would not be in the know? | diesel
27/11/2017 08:25 | Proof that buy backs aren't good for shareholders they buy 300000 and price falls open door for short selling Hope I'm proved wrong but can see being back in 80s by end of day. EDIT Now Avia another of my portfolio , if reports are correct are going to do a buyback but does seem to have moved the price up.just shows how weak the VEC share price is. | pooroldboy55 |
