1347.

But the 22/1/24 RNS says:
“As part of this arrangement, and on behalf of the Swiss investment company, Vast has received an offer from the Nikash Group to purchase PGM concentrate containing on average 15% platinum plus other payable materials and which is being marketed as a platinum concentrate.”

Key aspect is “marketed as a platinum concentrate”. It could contain 0% platinum. It could be 20% copper like the normal VAST concentrate and still be marketed as “platinum concentrate” as it contains 15% “platinum plus other payable materials”.

1347: Mr. Priley (sic) appears to have given it up for now - he’s off discussing protocols in Tajikistan instead, apparently.

As you are on friendly terms with the thug Mugabe family why don't you just nip over and ask them, or their agents, nicely for the bag of diamonds? Do let us know how it goes, if you are able. However Lucy tells me that they've long gone and some of the shops in Dubai and Hong Kong did very well out of them.

Ousted yes, but was still causing problems.. and was still trying to influence things. And there were still unfortunately people loyal to him in authority.

petersmith6: your visit to Mr. Mugabe in 2018 must have been largely redundant. He was ousted in 2017 and had no role in government thereafter, as I understand it. He kept his diplomatic status, however, so Mme. Mugabe will have been able to send a case or two of her most treasured articles out of the country unmolested, if she hadn’t done so already.

In the USA they have the fist Amendment that grants them freedom of speech. They may think that that wont be removed. But at some point it will be, if they dont do as they are told.

I was in the unfortunate position to be invited( well collected..you dont have a choice) to meet with Robert mugabe in 2018. While he had no tolerance for whites or outsiders,he knew when to use them when it suited him( he put himself and the chosen few) over his country. He wanted ways to discretely mine and export diamonds and other minerals to fund his government. Surprise surprise when all the problems were pointed out he flew into a rage..and two officials were taken away .In 2022 I went back to visit.. I found out the officials have been beaten so badly one was in a wheelchair and one lost sight in one eye. They have all the capability to begin operations with in a month ..might not be prity..but over there its more than acceptable. The difficulty is the new government being taken seriously and being permitted to expoert diamonds . Many are suspicious of Zimbabwe as despite what's said, some of the old remnants are still there..The people of zim have a good heart and will make the effort....they just need a chance..

Those who are hoping for a diamond concession in Zimbabwe and thinking it will make money quickly are delusional. I think it could be good for Vast long term depending on reserves but in the short term it will not generate cash for shareholders. Just need to look back at African Consolidated Resources and how much money they took out of Zimbabwe. The answer is £0 as all money had to be reinvested into mining etc. With joint venture it's going to take even longer to get to free cash flow.

Anyway let's see what next week brings.

“The people who stumped up the money which is now overdue for repayment presumably don’t subscribe to Kenmche’s definition of “progress̶1; but will have run a slide rule over the value of parts of the business before they lent the money.”

It’s that kind of BLINDNESS that upsets me. Kemche is Commedia del’arte personified. The Moliere-esque running gag, the slapstick, the humour. And some savages, some Philistines, some lowlife cynics, think Kemche is remotely serious.

Free the Kemche One from this torment.
