Because there giving very generous nil cost options away it would be funny if not for the situation here.

A bit of action yesterday with Vanquis taking legal action and seeking compensation from the third party claims management company. The claims company is fully aware the bulk of claims are unfounded and unjustified so let’s see what comes of that. I consider this definitely worth a punt with that cash held and have already made a tidy sum here so my average is considerably lower than where we are.

Trev this is definitely one to watch. This is a real big risk v reward stock.
Depending on the share price in the mean time. Let's see what happens on next update. it could be a good buying opportunity or a missed the boat day.

Karv that supposedly is a non repeatable release based on an accounting issue but there is no doubt like I said before this has been a basket case and your betting on the new guy. Basically I think they slung all the bad news in the results but this is Vanquis lol. However they have a good cash position if they can reduce costs duplication impairments etc then they have a good chance. I was a little more convinced with the Redwood stake either their making a play for the bank or see a big discount and with that holding they may be helping the board to aid their investment.

They might have a lot of cash but with limited research if i have read correctly they only made 10m after tax profits with 75m one of release and 60m cost savings if you half the 60m cost saving and say around 30m and the 75m release don't that mean they really lose 95m? for 2h? and 125m for year?
Please correct me if i have mis understood the numbers.
If they can turn this around it could shoot up on the other hand that surplus will not survive long with huge losses if more losses are found.

Considering what’s happened here already and the huge losses perhaps this should be wound up because the share price would be so much more.

You really have to ask what’s going on here when the cash position is far greater than the MC by some margin and if you ran the remaining book down your looking at a massive and substantial discount of around well you do the maths?
