11/3/2024 12:34 | Watching for a director buy, or two. | mabelf1
11/3/2024 08:32 | Seems not. But now? | babbler
14/2/2024 12:05 | Falling rates, increasing NIM, soft landing, lower impairments, cost actions coming through...seems a lot of bad news in the price, with more favourable outlook going forward | bbarry8
10/10/2023 09:29 | i see the 5.125 66WS bonds matured yesterday. Anybody received their money back yet? | bdbd11
11/9/2023 19:45 | Lol,they do own quite a bit and to be fair and they have been adding recently. | 123trev
11/9/2023 19:06 | Well it may have some impact but it would be even better if institutions would keep buying at this level. | petrencf
11/9/2023 17:10 | Realising your serious because we are coming up to dividend payment day meaning that over a short period investors will receive cash that they may reinvest back into the stock which “might” increase the share price and with this being hit so hard could be a wise choice. | 123trev
11/9/2023 14:50 | sorry but what the divi payment has to do with the rising SP? Ex-divi date was in August you could sell your shares now without losing the upcoming payment, right? | petrencf
11/9/2023 09:33 | A trip to £1.39 at this rate more than possible with dividends landing soon. | 123trev
08/9/2023 14:18 | I'm still trying to come to terms with the fact its no longer going down lol | chubby chandler
08/9/2023 10:45 | Going great guns at the minute can’t believe it’s so quiet here lol. | 123trev
08/9/2023 09:23 | Steady climb think this could hit the £1.20 mark quickly now. | 123trev
25/8/2023 20:45 | It is even more difficult to understand the reason for the continuing fall in share price According to Market Screener The forecast PE for 2025 is 2.5 And the forecast yield is 17% It looks like one of the cheapest shares in the market A fair price would be about £5 | popit
24/8/2023 16:38 | Hard to even guess the bottom here. | rongetsrich
20/8/2023 09:50 | It could well be an extremely good investment buying this now they seem to be pricing it to fail I’m confident that won’t be the case but everything carries risk but I’m comfortable with the numbers here and the potential. | 123trev
19/8/2023 21:04 | Interesting to compare the forecasts for Vanquis and IPF on Market Screener They both look very undervalued hxxps://www.marketsc It shows forecast eps for IPF of 18p in 2023, 21p in 2024, 28p in 2025 And forecast dividend of 10p, 11p, and 12p in 2025 The forecast eps for Vanquis is 42p in 2025 And the forecast dividend for Vanquis is 18p in 2025 hxxps://www.marketsc So with the Vanquis share price now lower than IPF, Vanquis seems to offer a far better investment with a forecast PE of 2.5 in 2025, and a forecast dividend of nearly 17% in 2025 The forecast PE for IPF is over 4 in 2025, and a forecast dividend of 10% in 2025 So they both look like that they may be good investments, but Vanquis looks much better value than IPF now | popit
16/8/2023 09:44 | I sympathise with yours and many others position here not at all good to call this stock a train wreck is an understatement when once it achieved such lofty heights. Obviously I’m looking at this with a different perspective with my recent buy and with the hope things turnaround here and am certainly not trying to rub salt in wounds,my wish everybody gets their money back because we’ve all been here at some point. | 123trev
15/8/2023 22:02 | Like many I suspect, I am so far underwater here to worry about what happens next. The attractive yield is clearly not supported by the earnings this half year and a bit of an irrelevance when the 5p divi is accompanied by a 120p share price fall. Such a shame to see the destruction of Prov continues, but maybe I am being pessimistic and a phoenix awaits. Amused by the outgoing CEO comment , sounds like he is affirming his confidence in the company a bit like a PM just before the next minister resigns. | wad collector
14/8/2023 10:25 | Very quiet here considering what could be on offer long term looks very much like this took a massive dump to breath some long awaited change in direction! | 123trev
12/8/2023 11:55 | Not a recommendation and do your own research but whispers abound that this might be one to watch for the future now when you consider it’s once lofty heights even a modest push in the right direction by a committed team might pay dividends in the future. | 123trev
11/8/2023 05:11 | I do wish that when one is down ticked that those with more money than sense could self identify Would make life a lot more interesting in this dull dull market Any way think we might be off to the races next week Make sure you have monies available Good Luck | jubberjim |
