there used to be a good website which listed out potential shares available on loan, can't seem to remember which one it was. Can anyone recommend?

Not a seller, they lent their shares to perhaps a short seller who created this mayhem

It's not FCA uncertainty. Moneybarn has zero exposure to the FCA car finance investigation.

It's Financial Ombudsman uncertainty at Vanquis, primarily involving credit card related claims made by a claims management company.

The reason I ask is the connection with Moneybarn who advertised quite heavily at the time It is this fca uncertainty which is impacting on Close Brothers and LLoyds so think it does and will have a bearing on Vanquis.

As i said Amigo NSF and Wonga fell victim to the purience brigade so am staying out for now.

FCA investigate after the horse has bolted

Not fit for purpose

Good luck

Car loans liability under current fca investigation is nil, not being investigated.

"Does anyone know how much the Car Loans ? liability might be.

Unquantifiable does the share price no favours."

Is Moneybarn still operating and if so is it still recognized under the auspices of Vanquis or was it consigned like Provident and the taint associated to doorstep lenders to history.

Still watching to see how this plays out but noted that GSA Capital increased their short on the 14 march

Detest shorters and the companies behind them almost as much as finance companies that prey on the vulnerable so no skin of my nose here and why is purely passing interest (bad pun intended)

Good luck all

Doesn t matter

When the panic starts it builds its own momentum

And looking at the share price movements there is no back stop so you have to bite the bullet when you want to exit.

The market makers know this and drop the price accordingly.

I have been caught out in the past

If you can buy and hold at a price that suits you all well and good but this is not that sort of share to trade unless you are comfortable with risk.

It could turn around tomorrow but until they are cleared by the FCA expect more pain before any notable gain.

Good luck
