Well buying more at this level before a meeting is confidence that we are coming to a halt around the 50p mark, which Martyn, I think, worried was where we were heading...

A nice top up Calm, expecting to become an 'insider' later so getting in before you are in that position? Lol.

Please get some clarity on the progress of the Competent Person's report and how the board feels it should impact on their strategy and, more relevantly to us, add value to the UEN share price. For instance, if it was converted to 2P numbers just on what we know are our reserves at present, not the 2016 acquisitions etc., what are the BoD expecting?

They must have some guidance already as they've been working on it for a couple of months or more. And, crucially, will that then trigger some serious investment elsewhere or other strategic moves? It is about the last major thing the board targeted for this year to be share-price enhancing that has not yet been revealed...

My thanks for the effort you make to try and effect this communication channel.

What about asking for a "we see no reason" rns why the price has collapsed other than the previous rns that was wrongly put out stating there was no reason for the rise when In fact there was many reasons has previously stated in other rns before it.

And requesting on behalf of all share holders the person responsible for that be taken out back someplace and shot after first being mercilessly shagged and whipped.

Calm, again, do explain to the BoD chaps that most UEN supporters/investors are not doing so for a divided, and especially not for one that requires a 60% capital depreciation to achieve it.

What we do need is an investment and growth plan to make good use of funds rather than give them to Adler in the form of his whopping divi. The majority of us would stick our funds in Shell for dividend income and safety if that was our intention...

Do they even have a strategy that is worth the name?

Lol, the herd. They gallop in and gallop out so quick it might not manage a ten-bag if they did suddenly cotton on to this massively underpriced share.

They did so at NTOG about a month ago and it was all over in a day, just 125% before falling back. Couple of hundred posts an hour it seemed!

Exhilarating stuff and very welcome here if it was to happen as many would join them in the stampede out...

Haha Neft, moaning on BBs is the prerogative of all bitter investors when they know they have backed a 3-legged horse! Not that I do that much moaning on BBs these days. The money I invested in UEN when it had decent prospects in Dulisma is largely gone of course and I do get that the holding company is largely a charade, but it is useful to at least poke a stick at it on occasions - might get a bit back at some point to put on the lottery.......

Armagosa, you are wrong. The management of the holding company that you have thrown your money at (they are not an oil company) are simply looking after themselves as any Russian business. The fact that they are listed on the LSE is simply a throwback from the old days when the company was run by ambitious expats trying to be oligarchs and trying to grow the company and attract overseas investment. I'm afraid it will never change and if you don't see that you will still be moaning on this BB in 20 years time
