IT does seem to be a cash cow for the Adler syndicate as they are the only holders with enough shares to truly benefit.

They BoD can point to the share price appreciation this year, say they did advise this was over valued on no company-specific reasons in January, and that is where we have retraced to...

So much for shareholder interests in terms of capital appreciation if you bought after that period!

June load was 30,500 tons at $44 approx.

October load est 25,500 at $57 approx.

Ural Energy have been lucky with poo and they give it away in a divi.?
Investors are selling cause to sell makes better financial sense than holding on with the constant decline in the share value .
Ther has been a 50% reduction in share price to get a 4.8% divi return next week since the announcement a few months ago . I AM GOING NUTS!

I hope I can make the 3rd meeting. There are are blunt questions to be asked imo.
Like " what the F@@k is going on? "

Unlucky Chav, dodgy time of the year all round it seems. The horses don't run to form this time of year and October is not a good month for stocks....despite the Dow making new daily highs. The market certainly loves Trump and a may be in the minority over here but I can see why. Everyone has to be so PC in this country, I should know I live with 3 very PC people. Can't mention my right wing capitalist views in my house.

I don't suppose there is much appetite for a dividend-paying stock when the dividend is 4.5p and the spread is 6p. Also, although there is an ex-dividend date of 2 Nov, there is still a vote on 9 Nov to determine whether there will actually be a dividend - unless I've misunderstood something? Seems odd if this is the case. My guess, fwiw, is that it's a diversionary tactic. Like someone said, it's a weird company.

There may well be a case to buy for share-price growth, in which case the dividend is a bonus, but they have to get a grip of their operations - all we ever seem to see is 'news' related to loans, distribution and transport of oil, surveys, future plans, appointments, consolidations, and other such admin - it's an oil company and it needs to expand production efficiently and find new deposits. Everything else is noise, flannel and BS.

Your broker will convert it and you will receive the prevailing exchange rate credited as pence in your account. That's what's happened with all my other dollar/euro transactions.

Calm, you could ask why they couldn't pay the divi in pounds Stirling to British holders and explain the difficulty of us changing cheques and expense.

Some may grate at the thought that the buyers now could pay 60% or more less than when divvy intentions were announced and still get a 6% yield.

At least that is the situation for LTHs as of today and until ex-div date on 2nd Nov.

No wonder we are miffed and I can't see why people aren't buying this at present sold of prices and yields...

What a weird company this is! Just looked at it and I'll have a think. The reserves certainly need the impending update. It'll be interesting to see what happens to the new C1 and C2 reserves.

Slightly surprised they're paying a divi. It is possible that this will turn into a long term cash cow - there have been such stocks in this sector before but I can't think of any in recent years - maybe the BP Prudhoe Bay Units? Anyway they still seem to be on the lookout for new cheapy acquisitions - but maybe the dividend suggests that such opportunities are now limited.
