25/10/2023 09:29 | "What I find interesting is how much time some people are spending on here dedicated to a share they don't even own." Do you think it's a good idea to just jump right in and buy or sell something without fully researching why a price may have moved then? I think most private investors who play with a pot sub £100K do exactly that and it's why they always play with a pot sub £100K. To keep you happy then I won't share my pearls of wisdome and instead let the bulls cntinue to get excited about something that makes zero sense and will eventually burn them. | ![]() loglorry1

25/10/2023 09:09 | PWhite73, You overestimate the reach of the FCA. There is nothing that they can do if the company continues to comply with listing rules. And despite the protestations there is nothing that the company has done to breach those. Now their broker, that's a different matter. But the FCA is already trying to close them down and indeed has stopped them from taking on new clients. Perhaps for them this is just one last dance before the music stops? 25/10/2023 09:00 | Sensemun - "The market is telling you what it thinks of this 14p possible bid" I disagree. The share price is depressed because the warrant holders have taken the opportunity to offload 100 million warrants into the offer news. That's why the share price is having difficulty, nothing to do with the market's belief in the takeover approach. | ![]() pwhite73
25/10/2023 08:55 | Also worth noting the offer doesn't say "cash offer". SEC Capital might think their own worth is 500m based on their own assesment and offer UPL their own shares which they think are worth £175m. You might think that is ridiculous but currently the market is valuing UPL at £55m but when you look at its balance sheet it has nothing but a few hundred K in cash. | ![]() loglorry1

25/10/2023 08:49 | PWhite73, The company is a Jersey one and the directors are in Malaysia. So what if they break silly little UK rules? How exactly are you going to enforce UK law in Malaysia? JakNife | ![]() jaknife
25/10/2023 07:59 | apfindley - "It's stake building." There is nothing wrong with stake building. Many companies have institutions that have built up a sizeable stake. Stake building can take place for a number of reasons. It can be for capital growth in the share price. It can be because the dividend is attractive. It can be to influence any decisions that require shareholder approval. These are the common reasons for stake building. Stake building at a time when a takeover has already been decided is insider trading. | ![]() pwhite73
25/10/2023 05:06 | Yea he could buy more shares and still might! The guy knows the longer he leaves it the more likely it will drift and he could buy cheaper .He has enough time to build a stake still | ![]() everready1
25/10/2023 00:46 | "Mr Bollinger probably has no clue about what's being promulagated in his name" and the bloke is a billionaire lol!I sm sure he did not acquire his wealth by not having a clue in his business deals!Anyway, JakNife, you are clearly a very decent human being who cares for people and do not want them to lose money from this scam hence as soon as you found out about this bid you have frequently posted on this bb for no personal financial gain other than to be a Good Samaritan. Thank you but you have led us to the trough, it is up to us whether we drink the water or not. Constant posting makes one wonder if you do have an ulterior motive which I am sure you haven't | ![]() tyler90
25/10/2023 00:32 | I'm old enough to remember PWhite insisting CINE was a raging buy and would not go to zero bc Mooky wouldn't allow itWell here we are with PWhite insisting UPL is a buy at 5pRinse and repeat | ![]() truant2tb1
25/10/2023 00:27 | No its not insider trading if they buy shares at 1p or 6p and then later put in an offer at 14pHow is that insider trading? It's stake building. How do you think takeover offers start?By building up a position and then having to make your intentions know (ie at 30%)Wow, I really thought you were more knowledgeable than you're showing us.Anyway it can't be insider trading as there's not a genuine offer....so it's worse, its fraud. | ![]() apfindley
