Rereading the announcement, it actually says 14p for all the issued and to be issued shares of Upland. Not 14p per share. 14p for Upland.

No wonder the BoD rejected it outright saying that materially undervalued the company. Mr Bollinger even wanted change from a pound.

It went down when everybody thought this would be in a double figure percentage rise. Its no coincidence that nearly 100 million shares are coming to market during the 14p offer period.

The fall is nothing more than MM games to get you to run with your profit. In the meantime the company and its strategic advisers will try to accumulate stock to have some sway over the vote.

That they were forced to mention William G Bollinger by name is evidence the approach is for real.

So it is indeed a different company, nothing to do with the Chinese company. No way is he going to walk away just because the BoD said no. Once he's made his decision he'll make the offer and trample all over the BoD, as he knows that everyone else will take 14p and be very pleased with it.
