I can tell you many years back in SOLG many bought at 1p and temptations were there for weeks to sell. Those that sold at 40p bought news houses, new cars, one gentleman bought his wife a new kitchen and many retired.

Pleasure to have you on board oilisgold. This BB has been bereft of good commentary for a long time as there were only a few of us die hards left and we have been through a tough time, especially when we were suspended. Consequently we would go weeks with very little to talk about.

From experience i fully expect either next bid to be at a premium of 20% or same offer but formal as per takeover rules. There will then be negotiations and offer put forward to shareholders to accept the offer or reject.

Quite shocking how some posters thought why the board didn't accept. There is always a strategy and rules you need to follow during takeovers.

one of the question everyone was asking was why the share is not 14p.
Many reasons for this, mainly a rise from 3p to 14p would have meant huge increase intraday and this can cause huge issues for investors as well as those short. You normally need to attract new buyers to allow sellers to sell that have bought low. New buyers will not buy at a huge premium, so the market makers need to balance books. now we are seeing today is long term holders selling that want to exit but equally new buyers.
Secondly the bid is not currently formal. The board had to reject the bid as now it gives them more time to reflect and forces the bidder either to walk away or make a formal offer and start negotiations.

The market is now just waiting for the binding offer, once that gets in , expect the Share price to move closer to the bid price. The trading pattern is normal. As we get closer to time, look out for some heavy trades as this share is leaky

Getting a mention in todays Mail Market Report also increases visibility massively. This is currently a shorters nightmare.

I am now fully loaded and few of my PREM telegram members have also bought in heavily. We are a group of investors that do this for living. Just like TW but we have gone long here for a trade. If i am correct the next bid will be at a premium.

Buying currently is very strong, a lot of those that were on the sidelines are buying today. The rise now here will be typical of what you see for a share when an offer is made.

Exciting times ahead. But have a target and don't get greedy

• Proposal for SK334 PSC was received positively by PETROS on the 20th Sept 2023.Forward Plan:• Drafting of JTS Technical Report is expected to be completed by early Nov 2023. The draft copy will be sent to PETROS for review, before presentational in the final Technical Workshop, expected in the 3rd week of Nov 2023.

Shorts will be laughed at again and soon. SEC Capital has until 20/11/2023 to make a formal offer but it can come well before that. It could come tomorrow!. Be careful.

The point he was making was that there is no mention of 14p per share. Only 14p for all of Uplands issued and to be issued shares. So technically the offer is 14p for the whole company.
