Mr Bollinger began his career at Goldman Sachs, before working as a portfolio manager at Tiger Capital, Julian Robertson’s hedge fund. He also ran his own hedge fund in New York from 1987 to 1992.

Mr Bollinger’s new firm is, for now, keeping low key. Though listed on a database of investment advisory firms kept by the Monetary Authority of Singapore, it is not formally registered with the regulator since it has fewer than 30 clients.

Mr Bollinger did not respond to an email. A person at Judico’s office declined to comment.

The Company also refers to its announcement earlier today regarding the very preliminary approach from SEC Capital which is a vehicle associated with a William G Bollinger. The Company has unequivocally rejected the approach and does not have any further details with regards to the potential offeror at this time.

This evenings RNS (not RBS) is a lesson in seeing through a pretty patchy and desperate shorting game throughout the day. The lies that have been spouted on here and social media has been quite the sight. Hope a few of them doubled down and loss even more tomorrow in their shorts.

This first offer was a standard textbook offer . Its how you do it. The binding offer will come within the next few weeks. The offer will likely to be around 20% higher then 14p and the board will put it to shareholders to consider. This is normal procedure, i seen it many times

Its very likely going to open close to 9p tomarrow.A lot of doubts were created by select few about it being fake. Tomarrow it will hit hard those that were in doubt

This happens a lot. My advice is winners like this come only once in decade. This was no brainer and a few of us in my group have bought in significantly today for a trade to 14p to 20p. In solg when at 1p a similar situation happened , many sold at 4p. Sp went to 40p
