Took the chance to top up and get nearly 7% on the projected forward Yield and excellent growth prospects from First Remit. May drift lower before a bounce and the wide spread doesn't inspire confidence, but if the rollout continues, these are as good a growth/income stock taking a medium/long term view out there IMHO. Get researching!

CAS Universe Grp. : Sees FY results in line

Universe announced today that the year
has ended well for each of the group's
businesses and the results for the year
to Dec. 31, 2003 are expected to be
broadly in line with market
expectations.
HTEC continues to win new contracts in
line with the Company's plan. It was
recently announced that John Henderson
Ltd, the Northern Ireland franchisee of
Spar, Vivo and VG stores, is to
roll-out HTEC's Hydrapos petrol
forecourt system across its stores, of
which the Company expects to install
Hydrapos into the first 50 of their
stores in 2004.
Restructuring of Master Change
continues, with five shops closed in
the last year, as the division moves
toward profitability - even with the
continued dearth of American tourists
in Paris. Meanwhile First Remit
continues to grow its level of
transactions in line with the Board's
expectations.
Ray Mackie - Group Chief Executive
said "We have seen continued
development across the Universe Group
in 2003 and believe we will make
further progress during 2004".

been following these since a good citywire article, failed to get in early enough but bought at 30p as I see the medium outlook as excellent for the smart card arena. looking for a good boost with the next results.

I fully expect the share price to drop back to about the offer price of 21.5p,

UNG will then become a great buying opportunity and I will then be buying plus taking the share offer.

yes ... you might well expect it to drop but what we got was a huge rise ... until this am - then a big pre market drop

mau too - Is the drop not expected when almost 16million extra shares are now possibly available at 21.5p to UNG holders as of today? I expected a drop a few weeks ago after the initial announcement. Cheers
