11/8/2005 14:31 | I've topped up today too and no trades showing. The fundamentals are good, NAV of 42p and results in September in line with expectations | acrussell
11/8/2005 09:45 | Just bought a load more of these through Barclays.....not showing on any of the sites as a trade.Anyone got any ideas has to why? Spread has changed to a more sensible one over the last few days. Have been holding and building in these from the card clear days.....following Mackie....am I wasting my time/money or what. The fundamentals for this company look too good to be at this price. Merc | ![]() mercedes
04/8/2005 11:08 | Ridiculous spread....MM's don't want you buying. | ![]() wapper
03/8/2005 23:56 | Massive re-rating nearer 30p long overdue IMO. | ![]() wapper
03/8/2005 11:14 | addict the interims should beat forecast with MasterCharge and First Remit, when put together, breaking even and with HTEC starting on its exponential profit making run. As HTEC is at the bottom of the exponential they should be just good results the real benefits kick in later. Should be good news and a deserved move up to a higher level. I have been adding UNG and also adding into OSH as expecting OSH to give a positive AGM statement soon followed by much improved interims in December. I have both OSH and UNG as giving solid gains from now on for the coming years. | ![]() papalpower
03/8/2005 10:26 | Nice looking chart-up on the bid.At least 50% undervalued IMHO-benefit of significant contracts yet to kick in. DYOR. | ![]() addict
29/7/2005 08:59 | Will take a look! | ![]() verynervy
28/7/2005 09:26 | verynervy very true and sooner rather than later there will be a big change in the UNG price as it gets nearer to its NAV and back into profits. Topped up in VLK yesterday with a target of higher than 50p or more after the results put VLK back into profits and with a very strong outlook for the second half. Results due on Vislink around the 1st of Sept. | ![]() papalpower
28/7/2005 08:57 | Papalpower AS they say all comes to those that are prepared to wait - alkane energy was similarly undervalued but went up 300% of my buying price - dont expect more than 30p here for now!! I spend a lot of time searching for these little undervalued companies - but you have to be prepared for big losses sometimes - not that I expect that here!! | ![]() verynervy
26/7/2005 09:48 | Large spread, but yesterday's trades show it's possible to buy and sell well inside it. | ![]() addict
25/7/2005 15:38 | verynervy it looks like things are getting hot before August as some people get in before the herd. | ![]() papalpower
25/7/2005 15:36 | Blue Lynx Its all in the public domain, HTEC was delayed due to the delays in Chip+Pin introduction. The know the order book around 6 months in advance for HTEC services and its good and getting stronger. The PT is a new thing adding in to the HTEC equation. NAV is 45p per share ! Last year was the final of the changes and now Master Charge is making a profit and First Remit should break even year end. This all adds up to one exciting ride from now on, the profits from HTEC will see exponential growth and should they wish to sell the HTEC part it would be valued at around 20 million on its own in 2007/8. Higher highs and higher lows, watch the run in to the results on the 9th of September, the overall trend will only be up now. Back into profits and with a NAV of 45p !!!!!!!! | ![]() papalpower
23/7/2005 22:45 | I've some questions regarding UNG and its businesses 1, The roll out of HTEC's Clip and Pin terminals seems to be very slow. I don't seem to hear any announcements of new customers being won for their Payment terminals. Therefore is the competition offering better and cheaper alternatives to HTEC's. I know it has being announced that HTEC is progressing well but why can't we have some tangible figures and names of new customers. 2, First Remit also seems to be progressing very slowly could this be because potential customers see no real need for this type of payment solution. Surely First Remit would have sold very well and be producing a profit by now if it had a market and it provided the customer with a service that was beneficial and cost saving. 3, Universe Group, HTEC and First Remits websites are very poor and any potential customer will not be very impressed by what they see. I believe these websites should be made more professional and appealing so as to attract new customers and present the company with a better image. 4, What do fellow investor make of the fact that the 2004 accounts had to be qualified by the Auditors because the Directors didn't see it a requirement to Amortize the Goodwill in the balance sheet (a sum of £22,599,000) over the next 20 years. This seems a little imprudent to say the least. | ![]() bluelynx
07/7/2005 15:27 | verynervy it will be quiet on here I think until mid August, short term take a look at APH (new Hardman report saying fair value at 30p, now is 20p) and also VLK as VLK are due to report big contract news any day soon and should be a target of 45 to 50p (now 36p) | ![]() papalpower
07/7/2005 09:28 | Looks like some big action today two sells of 5 shares surely it costs more to sell than profit realised?? | ![]() verynervy
06/7/2005 13:47 | Fantastic news that London is going to get the 2012 games! Cant believe it....thought everyone hated us Brits! We never win these things! Maybe Live8 and wimbledon in the last two weeks helped....Good for Blair too...Im not a fan of his, but you can say one thing for him, hes great at winning elections... ...bet hes going to want to stay on till 2012...may just do it too! Gordon will have choked on his soup I'll bet! Not lucky our Gordon... ...did your hear the huge gasp of "Non!" from the crowd in Paris? My heart just bleeds! Lol LOl Lol ! 05/7/2005 14:54 | Ningram I would also guess with a NAV of 42p per share if we get back into profits at news time you might see one very nice golden cross from UNG before too long in my opinion it is building up for it. Higher highs and higher lows and the across we go in the coming months. | ![]() papalpower
02/7/2005 08:53 | Will be very interesting in the coming weeks as interims close in, only 9 weeks to go now. | ![]() papalpower
01/7/2005 16:37 | Even so far today. | ![]() papalpower
01/7/2005 07:44 | Ningram the Net Asset Value is approx 42p per share the presently very weak price level represents the bad news of the past and an expectation of small loss or break even this financial year by some however all pointers indicate this will not be the case and a so called "unexpected" profit will happen however to a lot of people it is an expected profit. The recovery phase is complete and from now on its solid growth. | ![]() papalpower
01/7/2005 07:36 | penpoint I have not seen the latest from C Stanley so cannot confirm their latest forecast. | ![]() papalpower
30/6/2005 22:34 | When the price was 17p to 20p it was trading at 18p and 19p. So perhaps not as bad as it looks? Is the Net asset value 42p per share? | ![]() ningram
30/6/2005 12:33 | PC I can live with the spread as in my opinion the short, mid and long term all look great and I think you will not see that same wide spread after the 9th of September. | ![]() papalpower |
