They do not get much news coverage and their results have to do all the work but agree they will come good one day soon ... in the meantime we do get a divi soon

I hold a few but they don't seem to be going anywhere very fast - ticked up this morning - ticked up this morning on a few buys but soon ticked back down again

silverfern-yes i think your tactic will be a good one,unfortunately i bought in before the results hoping for something better,not tempted to sell but if i were buying i`d wait a little as well.

Once this has fallen and flattened I will buy - 2 reasons; the share is traded andf therefore does move; also business in this company is not going away but it does fluctuate; First Remit has not been thge pot of gold they thought it would be but it will get into profit and coupled with HTEC that will recover the share price. That's three reasons. There is always the possibility Ray Mackie will lead a buyout but I doubt he could afford that at current levels

Ray Mackie must be hurting after all those share buys this year. Anyone know what www.t1ps.com have to say on the matter today? I believe Tom W. bought at 35p for his SIPP and has been plugging them all year.

Always been a long term recovery (Master Change) and Growth (First Remit) story so happy to hold especially since the Divi cut was already flagged in the Broker Forecasts. Outlook statement is still positive and as maut too says trading and profits are skewed towards the second half. The spread must kill people trying to get out and back in - It's not a trading stock just 1 for the patient investor IMHO . . .

CAS Universe Group : Expects Strong 2H At HTEC

Universe Group Plc Friday swung to a
first-half pretax loss of #224,000 from
a year-ago pretax profit of #206,000.
Turnover rose to #20.3 million from
#19.0 million last year.
Executive Chairman Ray Mackie said:
"We expect a strong second half at HTEC
and are seeking to ensure continued
improvement in trading at Currency
Division arising from the summer season
at Master Change and modest growth at
First Remit."

not over exciting but the price already reflects that situation. They are paying a divi and turnover did marginally improve. The exceptionals clearly hit the pofits but they seem to be saying they are taking them at half way this time leaving the 2nd half clear. Trading/profits is weighted towards the 2nd half

On the positive side it does look like HTEC will perform very well in the second half and beyond.H1 results were already flagged as not brilliant and H2 significantly better,i will hold.

CAS Universe Group : Chairman resigns

Universe Group PLC said today that
George Welham has relinquished the
chairmanship of the Company and
resigned from the Board.
Welham, who has been a non-executive
director of Universe Group plc since
April 2000 and non-executive chairman
since October 2002, has decided to
reduce his business commitments in
order to spend more time abroad.
The Universe management team has
been reorganised as follows:
Ray Mackie, Chief Executive, becomes
Executive Chairman.
Adrian Grinsell and Catherine Wines,
who are already main Board directors,
will assume additional responsibilities
as Managing Director, HTEC, and
Managing Director, Currency Division,
respectively.
These changes take effect
immediately.
