Cost recovery is up to 30%, but they get 17.9% of the rest. So another way of looking at it is 17.9% clear profit (apart from G&A) with government taking 82.1% of profit, even worse than your 70%. But I'm not saying it's good or bad. You have to do the sums yourself vs SP/mcap.

It's 58 or 59 I think then when cost recovery is done it's 70.

Well I have reduced significantly. Adding to my GENL position so that should keep people who want unhappy holders "out"....

Would draw attention to the last RNS, all clearly a bit smoke and mirrors, they report the increase in the workover rate, but no idea how fast it declined so significantly..

That sort of information would be nice to know.

Do these wells run down very quickly from initial rates? I do not know but thats a very significant increase for sure...

And although they add 500 bopd, only about 200 to UOG...

Once cost recovery pool is dry the PSC rules state that the Egypt govt take 70 pct of the production, so for 10,0000 bopd the operators would only see 3,000

Thats the highest number I have personally ever seen.

Thats the best case scenario. Worst case scenario the next well is a duster and they don't drill more this year. Still end the year with approx 3000 boepd ie 1300 after Egypt govt take - still a bargain!

Remarkable value here. If the next well comes up with the goods I think they (ie Kuwait energy the operator) will extend the drilling campaign this year (I would). If that happens we could well end the year with 5,000 boepd (which after the Egyptian govt take will be over 2000 boepd). Bargain.

Manini can you actually read? Where do I agree with NTV?
Although I can see you would have been swayed for congratulating him for rattling your cage.
Quarterly is fine for me, is that ok?
Jeeze!!

So I presume you want to be updated more often than quarterly too Soulsauce as you appear to be agreeing with the original poster. Although I note you didn't miss an opportunity to whinge about the selling again. How often would you like to be updated on the current output if quarterly is not enough?

No NTV it's just more of the same constant churn into any good news. Nothing changes.
But well done for rattling Manini's cage. I am sure you will be termed a paid deramper before you know it 😄

Utter rubbish! They give quarterly updates. What do you want daily updates? Hourly?

imho it is because they can't be bothered to update the market on total current production like some other companies do.
We know rates fall on these wells after a while so everybody is left to second guess

Can anyone think of another company that consistently comes out with so much good news? I can’t
