The amount of time this well is taking is extremely interesting especially as it's tapping into an undrained area. Regardless of my thoughts on the board it looks like they could be in a very sweet spot here. Clearly hit a lot of net pay imo and working out the most optimal way to produce it and maintain reservoir integrity. Could be a big hit coming in here.

I personally do think holders will get a very nice result from this well (I know its in fill / development) but the longer this goes on the better the prospects.

BL needs to deliver on all fronts here now though for shareholders not just Egypt, he is being paid top dollar and therefore great things should be expected and delivered...

A pleasure soul sauce. As I said it will be the news of the well or other good news (assuming we get such) coinciding with the general sentiment turning in favour of oil shares which I feel is starting now. I've been buying this gradually for over 12 months now..

You know this is an in fill/development well right mikro?
The share price is way down from the much more meaningful and exciting last well which opened up the potential of a new area and potential greater reserves.
I am not sure why you think this well will all of a sudden rerate the share price when the more meaningful last well didn't 🤔 but I like your ambition.
Hopefully this well will come in and more than replace the drop off from other producing wells.
For any significant rise in the share price the selling side has to dry up. And that hasn't happened to any serious degree in the last 18months but I remain hopeful but sceptical.

Myn0k - I feel that momentum is now returning to the oil and gas stocks. Oil prices are high but the market has acted as though that will not last and share prices have not responded to the new reality - but now it feels like the market is beginning to factor in the higher oil price. I think the AJ-8 drill results plus the oil price staying above $70 will be enough to get this to double. I think it is likely that the drilling programme will also be extended. So I think it will double within a month and more than that within 6 months (as more drills are announced and the excitement of a possible farm out builds)

Something seriously broken at UOG stock market trading level. Oil jumps 3% just today & UOG still down for the week!!! Brian sort out this mess!Regards

Looking forward to the next news coming here. The well workovers should also equate to another well being brought online. Increase in production will be on the next production update.
