I have received my notification of corporate action from my broker. Apparently I have 2 options!! 1)tender all my shares for the 3p offer or 2)tender part of my holding for the 3p offer. I thought I had a third option! Which although it has not been pointed out, is to ignore the offer.

Well if you were a mm what would you do? Take all the sells and hold them until the 4/1? Then???

The1-1.5p price could have declined like the 10p to 1.5p.you had the advantage of knowing you had suggested a sale of the product to alliance ! Nobody else had that inside information unless they heard your discussion at proactive. I trust you asked for a % finders fee !that way you can pay for my vamousse stock.

So buying at 2.75p (or lower) should give an instant 9%+ profit, if you think that indeed you should be able to sell 100%. Hmmm shall I leave my cash in the instant access account earning 0.75% per year or get a 9% return in a month?

@nobby ref. 2591: we think alike.

Highly likely to be able to sell at least 80%.

Octopus and Vanguard have to scale back I believe because of take over rules (after tender offer they'll be holding >30% if they don't participate and must make a bid for the company [?]). To be sure not to exceed 30% they should limit their current holdings to (almost) 13% of the OS.
I'm pretty sure Vanguard will stick to their 13% of the current OS. Then we've got mr. Read and directors accounting for an another 6% or so, that will not be offered. Let's throw in 10% for shareholders that don't qualify, don't want to take the trouble, don't want to etc.etc. (a very low percentage if you'll ask me).

So that makes: 13% + 6% + 10% = 29% of the OS that won't sell. 57% of the current OS will be bought in divided over the 71% shares that will sell. Thus 80% (57/71) of the shares that will be offered for the tender offer will be honored.

If Octopus stick to their 13% of current OS the a total of 42% will not participate. In that case from the 58% that will be offered for the tender 98% will be honored.

Personally I believe the most likely scenario will be that ALL shares that want to participate in the tender offer will get sold.

With all due respect, you really are a 'half empty' person 😜! You keep on emphasising that you are pleased you didn't buy at 10p but the real question is, why didn't you see the real value of the company when the price was 1-1.5p?!? Those of us who did are now reaping the rewards.

Price cutting has been going on for years ! Often down to £10 in Sainsbury.I have yet to be asked for it though.I am still pleased I never purchased the shares when they were 10p having worked out 4 cans at15£ to treat a hairy family was a non starter.even at 10£ 40£ is a lot to pay.hedrin is more competitively priced and we sell a lot of it.

The price was £11.99 in my local Boots the other day so there is some price promotion happening already!

I bought 250k yesterday purely with the idea of selling at 3p in the offer so I guess other people have the same plan! It beats me why the price isn't at least 3p bid!

More likely Rekitts or Unilever than big pharma IMHO. Hmmm, my wife has contacts with both of those companies through her business....

Of course I guess the recent deal could have been with one of those 2 companies so perhaps that deal could just be expanded.

2.45p bid for 500k

Perhaps the selling at this level has been exhausted.

2590... been a busy boy Nobby. Well done.

As management are currently talking to potential backers could you perhaps spend less time on here and more time working?

Ta.

This is getting interesting, having proven they can commercialise the technology and with their industry contacts, are they en route to a partnership with big pharma?

Looking at the shareholder list, about 47.5% of the shares are held by institutions as well as American Vanguard. You have to doubt that they will be selling in the offer so backing up my contention that shareholders will be able to sell most if not all of what they want to in the tender offer. I see John Reade the ex chairman also has over 3%. Most of those shares were bought well above 3p so I doubt he will be selling either.

Indeed it was me who introduced Alliance to Tyratech. I saw the CEO of Alliance John Dawson talk at one of the Proactive events and realised that Vamousse would fit their portfolio. He had heard of Vamousse but had no idea about how it was performing. Nevertheless he did say he was interested in hearing more. So knowing the review was ongoing I contacted Bruno with the idea that Alliance were a suitable partner. He was interested straight away but I had to do all the leg work to then contact Alliance and ask them to make an approach to Tyratech. So there is no doubt I have had a direct influence on this outcome!!

Perhaps alliance will see that a lower price will increase their sales? Did you suggest alliance might find the product useful to add to their portfolio. Is that why you haven't been posting recently? The share price will not help those that purchased at 10 p
