Great news. What's the right tactic now? The usual one in these situations; tender 100% and buy a few back later maybe? It all depends on one's view of the remaining business obviously - though I bought in for the Vamousse value as I'm sure most did. What always seems to happen to me is that I end up with a relatively paltry number of shares in the remaining co. I'm not complaining though :-)

Good that I have increased my holding massively recently to over 5 million! Apologies for my absence from the thread for the last few months!

I wonder who introduced Alliance to Tyratech.......

thanks for highlighting the trades on LSE, I had only looked at the trades published here which did not include a few of the big ones.

ok, been doing a bit more reading. I think that they may sell off the "human" side of the business and focus on the "animal" side of the business. Assuming there are interested parties, which there should be and they get a good deal, this will free up resources and give working capital to accelerate marketing and research in the latter, which they see as having better prospects. Just my thoughts and wtfdik.

I have been having a look here, directors were buying higher, option exercise price way higher. Some sort of action indicated by the board is imminent. Does anyone have any idea what this might be? One can only assume from their announcement that it will be positive but the market seems unimpressed. They have cash but are hinting at needing more to move forward more quickly. Any views appreciated as those that hold will have a better feeling and more knowledge than research can provide, TIA, duc.

Today's buys, itro £23k, are mopping up the recent sells hence no tick up.

a. City rumours?
b. Someone in the know?
c. Someone thinks it's a good bet at this level with the review due?

Around £60k worth of buy trades from around 15:00 today ?? yet S/P unmoved ?? Anyone any idea what's going on ??

Wow, that's a very good spot Al H.

Something's not quite right as why would anyone sell so many shares when we are on the cusp of what I would consider to be good news for the share price. After all, management told us they want to return shareholder value so I'm not expecting bad news.
A discounted placing? That doesn't make sense as they have enough cash in the bank and it would hardly be returning shareholder value.

I'm afraid I'm stumped.

Thought a number of the recent large "Sells" looked dubious. When you calculate their value strangely they're all related to multiples of £2500 + a fiver. Got to wonder what game the monkeys are playing here.
