29/5/2013 12:24 | MK, see post 446. Very thin market and with things about to take of only a fool would sell under 10p imho. A couple of big deals are expected and any one would create some demand for stock which could easily double the share price imho. | ![]() encarter
29/5/2013 12:22 | Been watching this for some time and was waiting for any share overhang from the last placement to dissipate - which I believe (based on the current share price moving on few buys) is now the case. However what I had completely missed was the fact that Bruno Jactel had joined Tyra in January. Bruno's name doesn't mean a great deal, but his ex Company launched Frontline to become the No1 vaccination brand in Pet care. Tyra now has the relevant 'retail' brand experience, financial strength through the 30% equity holding provided by Vanguard, a $10 billion market to chase and a CEO that owns 1.35m shares in the business. As a £5m punt, the upside versus downside seems very favourable. | ![]() mdchand
29/5/2013 12:01 | I bought a slack handful last week on the back of my broker's advice. I asked for a share that would be bust or a multiple of the current share price within 2 years, and this was his pick. To be totally honest, I havnt a clue what they do, their history, their financials, their product(s)...anythin Would anyone like to give a brief precis or do I have to do some work ?! | mark knopfler
29/5/2013 11:55 | The move this morning was because I asked my broker for the price to buy 50k. Just by putting it in the RSP they moved the price. There is absolutely no stock around and this is about to move up sharply IMHO. I am trying to buy a few at 6.5p. Nobby | ![]() nobbygnome
29/5/2013 08:31 | I agree. They have been in talks with potential partners for some time now so deals can not be far away. | ![]() encarter
28/5/2013 11:19 | Thanks, sidam. I'm not sure what question i would like asking as i am quite new to the company, but i would be very interested in the feedback you get. From reading through recent info it seems to me that Tyratech could well have turned a corner. | zelder
27/5/2013 11:35 | to Zelder I am retired but still do some research for myself and friends. I have known the company for some time. | ![]() sidam

26/5/2013 11:51 | >> sidam It is all about funding for me. Do they have enough cash to develop and market the products quickly and efficiently? Nobby | ![]() nobbygnome
25/5/2013 22:55 | If you don't mind me asking, Sidam, how did you get a meeting with the management? Are you a large private investor or a broker or something? I am just being nosey and of course you should feel no need to answer my questions! | zelder
25/5/2013 19:01 | I hope to meet with management next week. If anyone has any questions (sensible) I will try and get answers. | ![]() sidam
25/5/2013 12:10 | I bought a few more on Friday and will continue to add. Everything is looking very encouraging as far as I am concerned. The worry for me was about adequate funding but that seems to have been addressed. The next set of figures, which should be in the next month or so will make very interesting reading! 20/5/2013 23:46 | Only a guess but I would think less, but the Terminix deal isn't important imho, it was just easy to put together for some pocket money. How many cans of fly killer have you bought in the last 12 months? Even with 1500 stores I would be suprised if they sold more than 5000 a week. The head lice products and the flea and tick stuff has a much wider market. There is a worldwide epidemic of head lice with studies showing 25% of kids in the UK will get head lice annuallly, that's 3 million. There are around 60 million kids in the US and about 140 million dogs and 155 million cats in Europe and the US combined. It's a massive market into which Tyratech are about to launch. The icing on the cake is the Envance Technologies JV. Have a look what American Vangaurd are all about. They have some top minds and are going places. They see natural pesticides has the future especially in agriculture. That will be the biggest earner, if they can come up with something unique. | ![]() encarter
20/5/2013 09:22 | So do you think Tyratech would pay Terminix a fixed amount per item sold, encarter? Was just trying to work out after all costs and Terminix and Home Depot have had their cut, what Tyratech are likely to be left with. So at a guess on a $4.67 can, would Tyratech's profit, after all costs, in your opinion be more or less than say, 50 cents? | zelder
20/5/2013 08:49 | My guess would be that Tyratech pay Terminix for the use of their brand name. | ![]() encarter
18/5/2013 12:48 | TyraTech manufacture and market products sold at Home Depot throughout the USA using the Terminix brand name. I am not aware (is anyone?) of the exact details of the agreement. Has anyone an idea as to what the agreement is likely to be? Would TyraTech get a small payment for every product that Home Depot sells? If so, say a can of flying insect spray retails in Home Depot for $4.67, what can TyraTech expect to make from this? Sorry for all the questions but i'm relatively new to this share and am just curious! | zelder
16/5/2013 21:27 | I think it depends on your broker as TYRU is Crest so more widely accepted. Think it will end up more the liquid line too | techair
16/5/2013 15:51 | I know, i think i am going to have to join a broker that lets me deal in TYR. I am guessing the TYR shares would be cheaper to buy as the offer is 5.5p | zelder
16/5/2013 15:39 | zelder - I think a lot of business is done through RSP. A quote from that would be quite useful if anyone has access to it? | techair
16/5/2013 13:29 | 6 pesticide products already in the market. What are they? | ![]() encarter |
