Would seem so with Agri, although i haven't had a chance to crunch numbers as to busy with other stuff at the mo. Very much not "on the radar" at the moment, but that will no doubt change with some decent PR etc in the next few weeks/months.

Does this mean that they now have the financial backing mentioned in their results and highlighted by cliley above? i.e. they can now develop the products?

The cost of bringing a product to market is massive and with the deals they are doing, it all falls to TyraTech. The licensing agreement is just for TyraTech to use the Terminix name.

"Under the Licensing Agreement, TyraTech will manufacture, market and support a new line of Terminix-branded insecticide products"

So they have to make the products, advertise them and then get them on the shelves in 2000 stores. A great deal for Terminix but expensive for TyraTech.

They will need to raise a large sum of cash. They have said as much in their last results. 5 TIMES!

"the Board believes that the Company should plan to raise additional funding."

"we believe it would be in shareholders' interests to raise additional financing in the near future,"

"we consider that it would be prudent and in shareholders' interests to now seek additional funding"

"We therefore believe that it would be in shareholders' interests to seek additional funding in the near future"

"the Company intends to raise additional debt and/or equity capital in the near future."

It couldn't be clearer, there is no 'if'.
The question is at what price. They will need as much cash as they can get their hands on so it will be at a considerable discount to todays share price imho.

Thanks Sidam for your report on the presentation in London, it was very interesting.
I am just going on what I have read.
The interims state "the Company may have sufficient cash to meet its working capital needs through the remainder of 2012 and through 30 June 2013".
Revenue from Home Depot sales should start soon plus license and up front payments.
They have several billion dollar markets to sell into in US and Europe.
Currently £6.5m market cap with no debt.
I am just surprised these shares are so cheap, as soon as sales start clocking up, share price will advance.
If there is a fund raise, so be it, but hopefully at higher levels than we are at now.
I, too am quite happy to hold and will not be selling....so much potential.

I agree on head lice. Price point will be 4 times Home Depot range at $22 v $5. Reade says cost of manufacture should be similar so very large potential gross margin.

However, on cash you forgot to mention cash raised from equity issues.

From H1 interim results admin costs almost $3.2m. (50% R & D). Depreciation $0.1m and another $0.4m of non cash cost (see notes to statement). Say $2.5m per half year of cash costs. At present very little revenues and therefore very little gross margin. So cash burn somewhere in range of $2.0m to $2.5m excluding working capital. Cash at 30 June $2.1m plus $0.5m from partner = $2.6m.

Therefore No cash somewhere in Q1 2013, unless there are initial license or milestone payments as per my earlier post. I think some such income is a good possibility. But in my mind, if company raise cash at somewhere near current levels, I would not worry about dilution as the potential is so huge. In fact, I would probably buy more as the risk profile would be substantially lower. That is also why I am not intending to sell my holding.

I went as well. Quiet honestly, it was the worst presentation of the four. But it demonstrated that there was the probability of a very large business. As the interim statement pointed out there is a shortage of cash. However, the company now has products for sale. The first will go into Home Depot's US stores (about 1900) starting in December. There should be other product launches in H1 of 2013. Alan Reade hinted that it would be obvious soon that there were no working capital problems for the home depot product. Home Depot undertook their own research and the Terminix Brand name is very big in the US. He expected this would lead to roll-outs in other major store group's. He also intimated that there was the probability of the 'waited' announcement form the largest FMCG Group on a floor covering that repelled insects. Historically, such agreements have come with up front payments. That could sort out the cash position. There could also be significant up-front initial payments in the animal health area.

Of the companies presenting, TYR appeared to me to have by far the largest upside, but also the highest risk because of the cash position.

Hope this helps.

They will need funds from somewhere to fullfill their massive potential, but they have options. More colaberations look on the cards imho. They will have to give up some ip but it would avoid any dilution. Then again we could do with some more stock around so perhaps a placing would be best.

It looks like plenty of good news on the way to keep the share price climbing.

Launch of Terminix Ultimate Protection(R) at The Home Depot, early 2013.

Near-term opportunity to conclude an agreement with a major FMCG group.

Medium to longer term discussions with the same party on a prospective global license for other consumer products.

Commercialization of new head lice product in US and UK in H2 2013.

Personal insect repellant product launch in the first quarter of 2013.

"These recent advances have led to additional discussions with multiple parties on short and medium term opportunities for global and regional licenses across all three key product areas, as well as additional development collaborations. While there can be no certainty as to the completion of any particular commercial agreement, the terms on which any such agreement will be reached or the timing for agreements to be concluded, the Board is significantly encouraged by the number and nature of discussions being held.
