24/1/2013 22:57 | ashtree, they can't buy 10 million shares on the open market. Imho, they want a piece of the company, maybe 10% maybe more. They must have requested the warrants as part of the deal and agreed the exercise date, so either they want part of TYR and don't mind paying 10p a share or they think the share price will be much higher by May and hope to make a quick profit. | ![]() encarter

24/1/2013 10:17 | encarter...so why would they use the warrants when they can buy below the price on the open market?I hold. | ![]() ashtree2
24/1/2013 10:13 | They can exercise the warrants any time upto May 2013 so it could be any time soon and that would take the share price to 10p imho. | ![]() encarter
23/1/2013 22:49 | AVD will exercise their warrants regardless of the share price imho, they want a slice of the company. But news flow should see us above 10p by May anyway, with all the deals due in H1 2013. I hope they will also announce receipt of the upfront licensing fee which should be several million. | ![]() encarter
23/1/2013 21:04 | Also good buying on the TYRU line on Friday - pretty much at the offer | techair
23/1/2013 21:01 | I tend to agree with you encarter although hopefully higher than 10p especially with the amount of research behind TYR! That said the shares are pretty tightly held but AVD's strategy is to grow organically by buying companies like TYR Let's hope we get to the 10p price by May and that will give TYR some nice funds and AVD nicely on board with their stock, then we can grow together (how romantic!) | techair
23/1/2013 12:30 | Our partner AVD are looking strong. I hope they don't try to swallow us up at 10p. | ![]() encarter

07/1/2013 11:14 | The recently announced deal with AMVAC resolves any funding issues. "The formation of this Joint Venture will ensure that the Company's insect control products are well funded for the foreseeable future. " "The upfront license fee which the Company is receiving will support the retail launch of the Company's insect control products and also provides TyraTech with additional working capital." Products are on the shelves now and hopefully returning a profit. With AMVAC picking up the majority of r&d cost from now on and Tyratech able to use AMVACs marketing and sale resources, overheads should reduce significantly. They received $500k down payment in October 2012 and will shortly receive a further undisclosed licencing fee. Not sure what this will be but is described as "a significant upfront licensing fee" and annual license payments for the next ten years. AMVAC are a rising star of NYSE with a market cap of $900m so with their backing and product now on the shelves I don't foresee any funding worries. Interesting that AMVAC requested 10m warrants @ 10p as part of the deal and more interesting that those warrants have such a close exercise date but are still so far out of the money. My only worry is that AMVAC will try to snap us up at 10p before we reach our true potential. | ![]() encarter
07/1/2013 08:33 | I went to the Proactive investor presentation in December and was very impressed with the scientific approach. There is no doubt they will be a success with adequate marketing and sales support. I see above a poster says 'now the funding issues have been resolved.....'. My take from the presentation was that the funding issues were by no means sorted out and this was the main thing holding the company (and the shareprice) back. I know I am being lazy here but could someone fill me in on the funding issues? I was so impressed with the products that I might be a big investor here if I could ascertain that the company was on a sound financial footing and will not need vasts amounts of cash to develop and market the products before they become profitable. 21/12/2012 10:46 | Possibly a very good move taking payment in shares. Now the funding issues have been resolved I am ever more hopeful. GLA | mthead1968
20/12/2012 22:55 | techair, that's when the share price was around 3.7p. "The number of common shares issued was determined using the mid-market closing price on the date of the consulting agreement. " They have enough cash now to pay so the consultant must have chosen to take payment in shares imho. | ![]() encarter
