21/3/2013 12:57 | I think the way forward is the unrestricted line personally. It is Crest settlement and the liduidity does seem to be growing on there of recent My understanding of it is the TYR price decitates the TYRU trades so the last 6 trades on TYRU for example might look like sells but are actually buys as it reflects the TYR offer price. Also I think we have more chance of institutional and PI interest if TYRU becomes the main line of trading. Hope I have made myself clear there | techair
21/3/2013 12:48 | All mine are TYR, but I bought them all a few months ago in several trades. Then it was cheaper to get TYR than TYRU. As I see it, the TYR shares have the same rights as TYRU and they can be converted to TYRU. There is a form on their website for conversion. | dassaco
21/3/2013 08:43 | I've never had any problems buying TYR though haven't tried lately. 80m TYR, 27m TYRU? Are mms not obliged to offer a reasonable amount of stock at the offer? How many TYR can one buy at 5.5p? | ![]() encarter
21/3/2013 08:23 | Because the unrestricted is the same price and more liquid so why bother? | ![]() deepvalueinvestor
21/3/2013 08:17 | Why shouldn't people be buying the restricted line? | ![]() encarter
21/3/2013 07:58 | Nobby, if you had been told that AMVAC was going to take a 30% stake at 5p and provide us with sufficient funds, I think you would have been quite happy to pay 8p if the shares had react strongly to the news. I am still amazed by the low share price but this simply reflects the lack of coverage and interest after a poor historical share price performance. This does not reflect this great news so I will keep buying. | ![]() deepvalueinvestor
21/3/2013 06:24 | Yes I tried to buy some yesterday and was quoted 6p! The MMs are short and don't want to move it. Nobby | ![]() nobbygnome
20/3/2013 22:22 | Obviously they are holding the price of tyr down with the offer on both at 5.9p right now. People really shouldnt be buying the restricted line - I think they just see the higher spread on tyru and dont dig further. | ![]() deepvalueinvestor

20/3/2013 21:48 | Would be nice to see a bit more MM movement though. Guess it makes it easier for you to pick up your stock though DVI | techair
20/3/2013 19:47 | I had to pay 5.75p for another chunk of tyru. The offer is now 5.9p. This looks very interesting. I actually quite like the fact that it is so small that no research note was released on the back of this news and none is planned at the moment. Have a look at the news on dte just before Christmas that was similarly ignored by most investors. With budget cuts in brokers, I think there is a real opportunity for those of us monitoring sub £10m companies and waiting for significant news such as this. Risky but an opportunity nonetheless at a time of inflated equity markets. I can't work out if the 200k at 5.53p was another buyer or a sale against my purchase. My guess is another buyer as the price looks too high for a sale. | ![]() deepvalueinvestor
20/3/2013 10:17 | Anyone object if I get a new thread running as OP does not seem about on this one now and a lot has changed since 2009! | techair
20/3/2013 07:04 | >> DVI Likewise I am really seeing a big opportunity here. For once I seem to have the timing absolutely right (unlike VIY) as I have bought recently. I will try to get a few more first thing this morning. I have a feeling this could rise very quickly now. GLA Nobby | ![]() nobbygnome
19/3/2013 20:25 | OK DVI - interested to hear any ideas who the seller might have been. I was told there wasn't a whole lot of stock around. Even RSP was looking better. | techair
19/3/2013 19:10 | I think that might have been a sell to match against my 316k buy. I am warming up to this one now and plan to keep chipping away if I can buy the unrestricted shares at 5.5p. Very illiquid but that can work in our favour if news steadily improves. | ![]() deepvalueinvestor
19/3/2013 17:50 | 288k on TYRU line just come through too | techair
19/3/2013 17:49 | Just re reading through the RNS yesterday and realised that I had overlooked this part - To date, Envance Technologies has shipped approximately 200,000 units of its household insecticide product line to the major US national retail chain described above, with the products now available for purchase in approximately 1,500 of its stores across the United States Was impressed at the speed of manufacturing and delivery to all those stores in that volume. Think it only started in December? Also looks like we got a small mention in The Times newspaper today | techair

19/3/2013 09:20 | RNS: TyraTech, Inc. (AIM: TYR and TYRU), a natural life sciences company, announces the appointment of Walbrook PR Ltd as its Financial PR and IR advisor. | dassaco
19/3/2013 08:09 | Thanks DVI. Just a note to all that the MMs are bidding up for stock on this one so I don't think it will take much to get the price going. I already have a few but am considering taking a big stake here. As DVI says the volume is low and there is not much interest. However, I can only see this going one way and in the short term. All IMHO of course..... Nobby | ![]() nobbygnome
18/3/2013 19:06 | Nobbygame, I don't have much in tyratech but have been watching with interest for many years. I view it as very speculative but today's news makes me much more comfortable and an eventual takeout by Amvac seems the logical conclusion. I will try and find a research note if one exists. Note the two lines of stock. At the moment I would nibble the unrestricted stock at 5.5p rather than buy the restricted stock at 5p - it just avoids complications. I did not add today but I may. It shows how under the radar it is that there was little volume today and little discussion here.perhaps it will take a few days to filter through. Encarter on here seems well informed - an overview encarter for those looking for the first time? | ![]() deepvalueinvestor
18/3/2013 10:27 | They have also extended the life of the warrants. It seems very likely now that they will be exercised and that will be more funds for the company. The possibility of a dividend in the future is also mentioned to return cash to shareholders. All looks good to me and glad to have my holding. | dassaco |
