A little off topic tip

Anyone wishing to travel overseas with cash as a back up make sure you use the latest notes some banks have stopped taking 50 and 20 pound denominations in Thailand for exchange.
They can still be redeemed in the UK but go out of circulation on 30th Sept but can be redeemed after that too.

Market not impressed yet again with what Raul has achieved?

Very Toxic this old man for the share price and company. Nothing he does impresses anybody. Resign!

Halcyon days back then SS when TLW was a buccaneering aggressive exploration outfit. Wells all over the place. East Africa onshore. East Africa Offshore. West Africa Offshore. Namibia Offshore. Mauritania & Senegal offshore. Guyana, Suriname and French Guyane offshore. Very successful onshore. Offshore (except Ghana) unsuccessful.

If we had taken another path and just concentrated on Jubilee/TEN then we would probably have been swimming in cash by now rather than drowning in debt!

Yes I remember 16 pounds very well

Zaedyus I had high hopes when Shell were also involved as Angus Mc Coss was ex Shell
there was talk that they stepped out too far with the next drill, and also French Government were against exploration.

Fizz check out the POO,

More to the point; whatever happened to Raul?

Zaedyus. It was to the east of Suriname in French Guyane. An IOC farmed in for wells 2 & 3 but the appraisal program didn't firm up the anticipated resource. Block was relinquished after >$500m gross spend. Seem to recall Total tried later in the area but that didn't work out either.

Edit---->

The IOC was Shell (thanks SS). Seems they jointly drilled 4 appraisal wells after TLW's initial discovery. Think the gross cost was closer to $1bn than $500m. It was a long time ago. see

What ever happened to Zadeyous (I think that was what it was called ) where we found oil when tullows price was near £16.
I know it was of the coast of central/south America.
Does anyone on here remember?

What are you talking about, he has caused the share price to crash from 65p and done nothing to improve the share price or bring any confidence to the market in what he is doing?

Where is Waldo????????????????

Raul is shocking RESIGN!

Anyone noticed how a certain poster usually disappears as soon as share price starts rising and then becomes a hyper-active serial trasher of Rahul when they feel tide may have turned again.

Utilise filter button now!

I see we still have the same constant corrupt share price manipulation with this dog of a stock.

Raul truly needs to go he has been toxic for the share price due to his antics since he arrived.

The Market simply does not like him or how he is managing our company.

Resign, Raul, you simply ain't good enough for the job!

SS Hi,

I guess the best solution would be to find something else in Guyana that is easier to exploit. Depends if Rahul is prepared to throw anymore cash as it.

wrt Beebei-1.

2 of 3 supply vessels have now de-camped to Trinidad. Both visited the same Wharf. 1 is (i'd say) offloading now, the other did same a few days ago and now just seems to be moored nearby awaiting next order.

The 3rd is with the rig but about 1 km away. Could maybe be going deeper (having restocked) or are they finishing off the well (having offloaded stuff)?

Hi XX spot on ,

Sulphur removal /recovery will add to costs if they can find a taker to process it .

Extraction as you say will depend on Oil mobility / Viscosity and volumes in place to make it viable.

Possibly a routine exercise. Projects get 'revisited' as oil prices gyrate. Isn't the principal issue; oil mobility and high sulphur rather than price?

Interesting comment on ECO full year report
Guyana,

Not sure if this has been flagged up?

With the increase in oil prices the joint venture partners are revisiting the Jethro discovery commercialisation potential.

Also many of the US Gulf Coast refineries were dependent on and are fit for heavy crude - Cokers, VDU, FCCU etc

From the Repsol presentation, they have started taking heavy crude from Valenzuela

perhaps they could look at Guyana later.

looks like this could go over 60 next month what with the goodnews flow and gas supplies from Russia going to be a problem.

But as we all know with this share goes its own way so not sure when to sell once I made 10% in less than 2 months which would be just over 52p

Good finds guys. Probably explains some of the recent share price strength. East Africa geographically favourably located to supply India which itself is not exactly short of Refineries to process the crude.

Agree with Thommie that Total may exit. Kenya probably wasn't top of their shopping list. Patrick P already has enough on his plate taking flak from greens on Uganda.
