29/7/2022 21:29 | Thanks for your thoughts Thommie Very happy to see the back of Kenya, or a reduced position, Capricorn cash gives lots of flexibility to Tullow to reduce debt, invest in Ghana and Guyana and new opportunities. Tullow still have a Tax issue in Ghana to sort out. then plain Sailing. | subsurface

29/7/2022 21:02 | So clearly rahuls influence speaking with indian companies...My guess is new Operator: 70%, tullow 20%, africa oil 10%. Including a full carry to first oil for the AOC and Tullow. At 3,4b to first oil that means carried cost of 680m for a 30% stake in the project. If I think again, that would be only a bit better than uganda to Total where we got 575m, so 62,5%,25%,12,5% might be more realistic in the current oil price environment and 22$\bbl expected cost... That would account to a full carry on 25% or 850m for a 25% stake. And as we know project costs normally tend to rise.... That would be a good deal in my mind. I fully expect a carry model without cash on hand. If they would leave the project completely and get cash on hand the capricorn merger wouldnt have been needed to improve the balance sheet. What do you think? | thommie

28/7/2022 09:12 | BB - LoL! Patrick P of Total has an interesting perspective on that aspect. [PP] thinks his critics have oversimplified the energy transition. “The trouble with the whole topic around climate and energy is that the world of energy is a very complex one, with many connecting parts,” he says. “Just look at the way some politicians have only just discovered that the price of electricity is linked to the price of gas in Europe.” | xxnjr

Guyana Exxon have awarded a contract for Gas to Energy The scope covers the project management, engineering, and installation of approx. 190 kms of pipeline, with an associated shallow water portion and onshore approach making landfall to the west of the Demerara River, along the coast of Guyana.
