17/12/2019 14:57 | bones You have followed companies drilling in the NS. Repsol/TLW/Total/Qat Guyana is arguably the hottest exploration address on the planet and if this well strikes and it's API is similar to the adjacent Cretaceous Exxon discoveries, then both the Cretaceous intervals in the Stabroek and Orinduik blocks are de risked. That's the short term story, not the debt. | ![]() captain james t kirk

17/12/2019 14:41 | More downside as ahortwra will be all over this . The debt pile I a massive problem no matter what people on here say. That will cause tlw to sell off assets at low prices sooner or later. Remember that any sale process will take 6 to 12 months to complete so the timeline is tight . Problems on the field are unlikely to go away and I fact get worse . This is on a one way trajectory go some time | ![]() bones698

17/12/2019 13:15 | Disagree. This assumes that nothing will change. Tullow are on it now and will be increasing production by solving the problems that have caused the loss of production. Either that, or someone else will solve them. Waiting will simply be waiting to buy at a higher price. That makes no sense. Buy when there are problems and sell when they are solved. They seems the logical thing to do to me. | ![]() andysand

17/12/2019 13:11 | Tou guys need to remember that 2.7bn of deabt starts needing to be serviced very soon and that tlw either needs to sell assets or renegotiate it's debts . The latter is less likely due to the position they are now in and would likely prove expensive as the banks would want a much higher rate given the risk . The fact production has been cut means tlw wouldn't be able to make the payments or struggle should anything else happen negatively That leaves the sale of assets and most likely a sale in it's main field to raise money . The big question is how much would they have to sell and what's it now valued at . Plus then there's finding a buyer all of which takes time and is risky if none is found at a reasonable price . I don't see many lining up to pay a fortune for a field missing targets already so expect to get squeezed very hard . Not looking good at all . Better to so and wait until the mud clears as lots of risk here | ![]() bones698
17/12/2019 12:58 | All this stake building is what is interesting (not the meaningless intraday charts by the way). It is building up to an explosion. Soon, there will hardly be any open market shares left to buy as they all compete for a high percentage in the company. At some point, one of them will show their hand and make an offer. | ![]() andysand |
