An you post the chart please M RSI ?

I had to do the chart for you, because I was using the high and low of the day to calculate the 50% retrace 49.92 and 45.52p

but I did manage, so far did not go all the way down to 50% that normally is a good point to bounce back

Not here to argue or suggest others way of trading / dealing is wrong, or right, but really????

Was the news Monday not clear enough to show that charts are only good for historic events. Charts cannot, will never ever chart a stock line.

IMO, Look at the potential newsflow. Look at historic news events. Consider best case and worst case. Use figures available and determine what you believe to be value. Either invest, or stay away..
But to suggest a line is telling you what is going to happen next is akin to witchcraft and tea leaves.

A stock which has been so decimated by news is going to respond to further news and no one knows when that may be due or whether it will be received favourably or negatively.

A retracement to 47.75p
or yet further but not expected 47.22p

would do the trick to bounce back, on the Intraday movement

Only because MBS had a firing squad ready for any local mercantile families who didn't buy on 1st day of trading.

They will most likely have to re-value fixed assets as a result of what they know regarding nature of oil, and the reduced production, that makes their debt look even more tenuous. Clearly a day trading stock now, looks like some big dough being made on this board!

What a nice graph, touch and go comes to mind. Didn't expect much movement until presence and type of oil at Carapa was known but I don't mind a higher starting point before news. Now we just need a discovery of light oil. If light oil is discovered I wonder if it can be combined later with the heavier oil to make the heavy oil wells more viable.

Well, my guess is 53p at the close after a lot of pushing and shoving at 50p. But might hand around 50p for longer than I would like. We will see. Either way, 80p is the target.
