15/11/2016 15:32 | Is a safety net from a major that we do not know about? | mariopeter
15/11/2016 11:02 | 'Financially geared' it certainly is, and that's the problem. It will fly if poo takes off but if OPEC fails to get its act together or/and Trump ramps up shale to make US totally energy independent and a big net exporter with poo collapsing then Tlw could easily go bust. imo | cumnor

11/11/2016 14:46 | No problem marypeters Touched a nerve azalea? Didn't like getting called out for posting rubbish. I worked in the City long enough to know how it works. Your bumbling and incoherent response just reaffirmed that, self-evidently, you don't. If there's anything you want to know just ask. You're a troll aren't you :) | suffersnofools
11/11/2016 13:25 | Sniffernostools Please make a note of how to spell my name. Thanks. Your post 27962. | mariopeter
11/11/2016 11:15 | Kev - There are no end of altruistic posters on ADVFN like Mariptere and Azalea happy to share their 'wisdom' with us and save us from ourselves! Or 'muppets' as I call them :) | suffersnofools
11/11/2016 11:13 | Lol. You've obviously never worked in a commercial environment. Senior management buying shares is an onerous process, requiring approval from a number of parties, including the house broker/nomad. You are also very limited by any major inside info and closed periods, so you might only have a few weeks a year where buying is a viable option. Do you REALLY think he's buying it with a view to flipping them for a few quid? He's bought them as he wants a bigger slice of the bright future he foresees for the company he works for. He may be right, he may be wrong. Why not take yourself off and learn a bit about the realities of commercial life and the markets, rather than posting pointless comments on the BB of a company you don't hold? | suffersnofools
11/11/2016 10:57 | As is often said, timing is everything. Given a new U.S. Republican president taking office in the New Year for a period of 4 years, the volatility of the oil markets,OPEC decision on who takes what cuts in production, yet to be decided, longer horizons does not necessarily mean improved prospects for oil or TLW. | azalea
11/11/2016 10:54 | Hi AzeliaLong time since seen you about on CLTV. This share is cheap and treasurer more likely right than wrong but the oil price will govern everyone's fate. Trump effect a concern but reverse H and S on daily oil chart gives some comfort. Still watching here. | mariopeter

11/11/2016 10:30 | How would he know after 2 days Azalea? Honestly the laughable comments you read on ADVFN. Good job the directors have a longer time horizon the investors :) | suffersnofools
11/11/2016 09:45 | Did corporate finance VP Williams get it wrong buying 20k @ 260p? | azalea
11/11/2016 09:39 | Kev Jones 27944. Reserve based lending is great except when the price of oil falls the value of the collateral falls. Then the lenders can take all the assets for very little and there is nothing you or anyone else will be able to do about it. Indeed PMO are on that brink at the moment. Tullow is safer for now. Afren and Petroceltic are lost forever. Thousands of mining stocks have met the same fate. Did you not understand why the Tullow share price collapsed as oil headed below $30? They need to pay off the debt and should have started to do that in the last quarter and more this quarter. Instead they have increased net debt from 4.7 bn in June to 4.9 projected. I would be horrified if this company went down. So open your eyes and know the risk you are taking buying this share. Oil price dependant not just for turnover but for borrowing covenants. I hope you win though if you are long. | mariopeter
