....so another week of goes by without an update, I can only assume that because Q1 has been dire that they are waiting for the July and August numbers to hopefully show an improvement in the trend to ensure a positive spin on the update

lower on the back of talk of a possible tightening in Covid-19 restrictions... according to daily market report but agree TU and Times article would have affected SP

Not a good article in the Sunday Times. "Passenger numbers dropped to as low as 4% of normal levels in April, but have recovered to 21%-26% recently." Ouch

High profile exec appointment causing shares to rally. Can't see how any exec appointment can influence the significant downturn in train passenger volumes in the short-medium term, the share price jump today seems optimistic.Trading update due soon which should show a material decrease in numbers. Very high risk to buy the shares at this level.
