23/1/2003 14:04 | Me too Cleaner..........I dont think we have seen all the gains by a long chalk yet, but its gonna take time. Thing is, looking at the rest of the market, its hardly like we are missing out on anything is it ;o)))) Phil | the jitters
23/1/2003 13:28 | Thread gone a bit quiet now, looks like a few have sold out (for a large gain). I am still holding. | thecleaner
22/1/2003 14:14 | 'tis indeed. Too difficult to sell and buy back with the spread - hard to believe but this is a buy and hold. Received the 2nd interim cash divi yesterday, now have the final divi in the bag, cash receivable in Feb and out of the price - which is still rising nicely. Wish they could all be like this. Stupid thought, but I'm wondering if some people thought that receiving the cash yesterday meant they had gone ex-div and therefore sold? i.e. confusing divi declaration and divi receipt dates? Probably not. | monty burns
22/1/2003 10:08 | This is an odd one, lots of sells the day before the ex divi date and then once it goes ex divi the buyers come back. | ccullinane
20/1/2003 16:13 | Thanks M8 :-) | delboy002

20/1/2003 15:05 | Cleaner - how much is the final divi? | delboy002
20/1/2003 13:39 | Delboy, My assessment is based on comparison with other companies on the stock market. The 'uncertain times' factor will also be built into their share prices. Don't forget you need to stay in until Friday this week to qualify for the final divi. | thecleaner

20/1/2003 08:39 | The shares had a further move up to 24.5-25.5p, expecting to be plenty of delayed trades later on. I did put yesterday TRN in .......SHARES STRONGLY UP this week 20/01/03 | master rsi
20/1/2003 08:29 | Delboy, look at the performance of this co over the last couple of years. You will be hard pushed to find anything else on the market that matches the growth rate in profits that Trio has. There is zero risk in this company because it has such a large cash pile. The current rating is very low. Look at other companies with lower growth rates which stand on multiples of around three times what Trio is on. | thecleaner
20/1/2003 08:15 | Now we are in the move 24-25p | master rsi
19/1/2003 14:02 | Also at the Daily Telegraph. " Trio Holdlings, the money broker, added 1.5 to 23.5p to reach its year high after Walker Crips Weddle Beck rated the shares a "buy"." | master rsi
18/1/2003 20:10 | my broker (4 small stocks only)wc must have been following my purchasing again!! | ntv
18/1/2003 19:39 | Delboy thanks for the offer, but I don't need an analyst to tell me that trio is worth 30p. In fact it is worth more than that. | thecleaner
18/1/2003 17:23 | Walkers Crisps, now they know their cheese & onions. | ridgeback
18/1/2003 16:25 | Anyone wishing to read the full analysts' Report from Walker Crips, please email to me at gonzo.muppet@btinter Target price 30p!! | delboy002
18/1/2003 15:14 | and similar in the Guardian (with a bit more info): "Money broker Trio Holdings, up 1.5p at 23.5p, hit its highest level in six years after Walker Cripps advised clients to buy. With 13p of cash per share on its balance sheet, the stockbroker reckons fair value for Trio is 30p a share, given the underlying strength of its business and the fact that larger rival Tullett & Tokyo looks like it will be taken over by Collins Stewart for 10 times earnings.
