15/1/2003 11:17 | The shares are improving again to 20.75-22p, as new buyers are comming in and delayed trades are released. If finish like this at the end of the day, would give a signal of break out very positive for the future. | master rsi
15/1/2003 09:09 | i found one link that says more rate cuts to come | neutronjack
15/1/2003 09:04 | A good move today with a rise of 1.5p with not much volume unless there are delayed trades. Once again we have reached the 21.25p resistance level, It will be very important for the future of the share price if it breaks this point. | master rsi

10/1/2003 18:45 | I'd personally like to know what Nittans intentions are. From memory, they paid around 10p a share for their 30% stake (might even have been less but cant find the article right now which has the numbers). At present I reckon a cheeky bid of 30p would probably secure the company which would equate to a full takeout average price of just fraction above the prevailing price. For that price, they get a large slug of their stake back from the cash Trio holds and an earnings enhancing acquisition from the off. The question in my mind, is why dont they do it, if as has been suggested a number of times in the media before they intend to do so? If they dont intend buying Trio, then I would rather see them dump their holding as it could well be acting as a potential stock overhang and preventing a bid premium being attached to the price. Any thoughts? Phil | the jitters
10/1/2003 14:23 | Beartrap IMO the cash has to be looked at in conjunction with debtors and creditors, ie liquidity ratio - what does that tell us? Jitters I hope you are right!! I reckon that the shares on a going concern value are worth at least 28p comparing the company with other similar companies in terms of activity and size. | delboy002
10/1/2003 11:50 | What, the one with 10%+ of LGD? | monty burns

10/1/2003 11:42 | Just my thoughts. Its is currently valued at around 17m. If you strip out the projected year end cash its ongoing money broker business is being valued at around 5m. Since this business is forecasted to earn around 3.5m for the full year that would mean Trio is trading at just a forward PE of 2. Even though the earnings history for money brokers is tempermental to say the least such a rating for a company that has shown innovation and good cost control is unwarranteded. At 30p Trio would have a market cap of around 25m. It would be trading on a forward PE of 6 and still be yielding 3%. Thats a fair market price is you ask me. Look at ICAP, it has been rewarded for its aggresive acquistions and its ability over the last 18 months to beat analysts estimates and now trades on a PE of around 16. People will eventually see the value inherent in Trio and the share price will reflect that either through someone taking them over or simple market dynamics of more buyers then sellers. Be patient. | beartrap
10/1/2003 08:29 | Del,I think you are right. This stock would be a lot higher if there wasn't a serious seller still around.Iwish someone would take him out so the game could go on. This security is exceptionally cheap at these levels!!!!!!!!!! I wont guess as to what a fair market price is. What's your best guess??? | macduck
09/1/2003 14:20 | Dont think so Del, its just the MM taking out the T10 merchants after the IC tip. Check out the trade log for the day of the tip and compare it to yesterday and todays trades, and I bet a fair few of the trades tally up nicely. Solid stock, and no cause for concern IMO. The MM will be quick enough to start raising the price an a day or two as ex div day approaches so they make money on the stock they've just bought. Phil | the jitters
09/1/2003 11:32 | Big seller on the horizon driving the price down - any guesses? Directors? | delboy002

06/1/2003 15:04 | bpoole...........wha If you intend buying, then you should be doing so based on your own research not based on the research of some overpaid hack whom you have never met! IMO of course. Phil | the jitters
