22/10/2020 00:07 | Wwick, I don’t agree with you about a dividend. A modest divi would deliver a healthy return, be eminently affordable and I suggest would have minimal impact on growth aspirations. Furthermore, were the divi to be paid every quarter it would encourage share retention and likely attract new investors so raising the share price and value of the business. It would even make it easier to raise additional capital. | nafafa
21/10/2020 21:34 | "communication" = superficial | wwick
21/10/2020 21:33 | "divvy" = short sighted | wwick
21/10/2020 17:24 | Frustrating is no understatement. Unfortunately short term sellers drive the price down on any rise. This is not adrressed by Trin. They could introduce a divvy to retain investors or a buyback or promote more media and shareholder communication. They are not supporting their own share price so it makes it hard for long term holdrs. The new Trin has now created its own reputation. They said they wanted long term holders but then to be a long term holder has been misery. TXP has retained value and many shareholders. Trin has not. I don’t know when they will wake up to its importance in the long term holders lives and the company’s reputation. They can become hyper efficient and generate cash but also generate a poor reputation for looking after shareholders’ wellbeing. How long does a long term holder have to wait to get their initial investment back for goodness sake?? Trin is in the best shape yet with great prospects and holding up well. But you’d never know it! Great time to buy. Yet another miserable and frustrating time to hold. | nocents
21/10/2020 17:05 | Singularly the most frustrating share in my portfolio. Cash looks good. Trading looks good. Geography and government looks good. Does nothing for a year. Luckily I bought equal numbers of txp and trin so portfolio looking great Hoping for money back at 12p plus. Let's see. | glennborthwick
21/10/2020 10:49 | You only need look at the outflows from UK equity funds over the past few months. Most funds have to raise cash and will sell when and where there is liquidity almost regardless. | slicethepie
20/10/2020 22:38 | Interesting share price. WTI $41.2 $21 above breakeven No SPT No debt Minimal capex as no drilling. $22m in hand High cash generation due for Q4. EOI for Jubilee. Risked Nav and broker target excluding contingent TGAL at 32p!! And share price is at 8.2p?? MM’s=mushroom munchers Where is the true value reflected in today’s Macdonalds fast-food market? | nocents
20/10/2020 10:13 | I've been told many times my ramping will not affect the share price. So therefore not will any other comments | aimmafia
20/10/2020 08:13 | MM will take 250k shares, could be an interesting day. | mark10101
20/10/2020 07:48 | Need to work on your subtlety AM but all in all good deramping. The "surely" wrecked it everyone uses that line. | bad gateway
20/10/2020 07:31 | I suspect the mms will try and visit 7.9 today if there are plenty of sells, but I think this will get bought up. It can't go into the 7s surely | aimmafia
19/10/2020 23:23 | I have the suspicion that some people want to free up some cash for acquisitions or security. To see BP at £2.04 today was quite something. There are other very attractive stocks out there and also the prospect of holding cash and awaiting volatility. Long term holders are few and far between in this fickle market. Sells today are just normal liberations and expressions of some peoples’ impatience or cashing in on a share which fell to 5.5p and they do not understand its potential. Such are investors and such is the market. Huge amount owned by institutions here and the BOD. Very uncommonin. Today was just expressions of many different reasons for selling...not necessarily anything to do with Trin..just taking profits and moving on. More that go the better. They would only be leaving at the drop of a hat anyway . | nocents

19/10/2020 22:25 | Nocents, meant to say it before but ADVFN let’s you edit posts. Click the edit button in your post header. | mark10101
19/10/2020 22:14 | Nocents, high volume day with 2m marked as sells with only 200k as buys. As you say could spring well and truly coiled. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. | mark10101
19/10/2020 21:58 | The fact they were happy to take 2 lots of £22k from me in dummy trades says the same. This stock is a sprung coil but will have to wait for whenever the catch is released. All is not what it seemed today. | nocents
19/10/2020 20:13 | HH, very gracious of you (naive?). I know people who have had a hard time in their life and they didn't resort to the outrageous , self pitying, vicious, nonsense that we saw on the other bb. He has either bought a fair number or the upturn in TRIN's prospects has left him rather isolated.....either way it's up to you. On the issue of TRIN, their prospects have improved fairly dramatically in the very recent past. The SPT issue is obviously very good but the offshore east coast asset farm out is now a major and immediate factor in evaluating the NEAR TERM prospects. They are now making noises about the west coast which they were going to sell(had sold!!) for $4.5m three years ago.......they wouldn't sell it for that now but they were very strapped for cash. This was long before my time but when the deal fell through they had to raise cash and raise it quick. Jubilee, farm out TGAL, SCADA, west coast development.....lots of cash with possibly lots more to come. | pavey ark
19/10/2020 19:12 | The fact they would take a very nice chunk of my holding into the close and the fact we closed perfectly on the ascending wedge support gives me reason to be cheerful from a technical perspective. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | mark10101
19/10/2020 18:58 | At the risk of troll-baiting...very likely...I’m interested in why today’s trading was the way it was. Trin has never been in a better position since refinancing!! | nocents
19/10/2020 17:50 | The fact they would take a very nice chunk of my holding into the close and the fact we closed perfectly on the ascending wedge support gives me reason to be cheerful from a technical perspective. free stock charts from uk.advfn.com | mark10101
19/10/2020 16:11 | I give it 3-4 working days before the slanderous comments towards the BOD and new investor repellent gets to work | aimmafia
19/10/2020 15:27 | Aimmf, perhaps Nocents is today’s seller, he can take no more and so has moved on elsewhere. Very wishful thinking! | nafafa
19/10/2020 15:18 | I will be surprised if the buying price gets much better than it is this afternoon. Having made a handsome profit on TXP I sold a chunk last week and have now topped up on Trin. Hope it proves to be a shrewd move, time will tell. | nafafa |
