06/10/2020 09:48 | For the sake of transparency, closed out my position over the last week. Good luck to all holders! | mount teide
06/10/2020 08:43 | The news was totally unrelated to SPT, I never said it was. I did say in a previous post from what I heard that SPT was not on the agenda and it pretty much wasn't other than what was already mentioned.Hows your deramping going? Why are you on a board when you cant afford to buy any shares? It doesn't make sense. Youre like a very bad smell. | aimmafia
06/10/2020 08:16 | OT Appreciate the sound positivity. Glad you still here. Have to admit that govt. left me taken aback by their even more profound ineptness though. And dishonesty. I do not belive the govt. wll go further so this puts Tgal into doubt IMO. Onshore at low breakeven may be way forward. Spoke been put in wheel though-hence selling today. I hope Trinity has a plan to grow with SPT as a constant now. (no point responding to other predictably unintelligent post) | nocents
06/10/2020 08:04 | Think everyone stopped bickering so not a lot to add. Nothing gained from the SPT announcement in the short term but have to wait to see if they go further.Still cheap, safe and awaiting a major catalyst.... | otemple3
06/10/2020 08:04 | Didn't take long. His back whinging | aimmafia
06/10/2020 07:56 | Is this thread live or are there no investors left? | nocents

06/10/2020 07:27 | bad gateway, good post and does put things in perspective. They were never going to make a major announcement on SPT reform but it looks like we have started down that road. | pavey ark
06/10/2020 07:09 | spell brook I agree and planning to add when price settles later in the day | bubloo
06/10/2020 06:50 | Nothing has changed for TRIN Still making money and will continue to do so | spellbrook
06/10/2020 06:29 | Ar least the co. got it right in their very recent half year report. Should have pegged expectations to the RNS.. ยท Potential SPT Reform o On the 10 August 2020 the Peoples National Movement ("PNM") was re-elected into office with a manifesto commitment to reform the regressive SPT. The PNM proposed, in the first instance, to increase the threshold for the imposition of SPT for small onshore oil operators to USD 75/bbl (from USD 50.01/bbl) for the fiscal years 2021 and 2022 o The forthcoming budget on 5 October 2020 is an opportunity for the PNM to confirm this increase, and to provide much needed clarity on their intentions to reform SPT to encourage greater investment in the T&T oil and gas sector | bad gateway
06/10/2020 06:13 | I don't really think that will happen | aimmafia
05/10/2020 23:05 | No reason for Cairn to enter T & T. This will settle at 7.4p now. | astorcourt
05/10/2020 22:21 | I agree that it really isn't an issue immediately but an important precedent has been set. They have blanked the cries for reform before but this is admission that SPT is a disincentive to drilling and has resulted in the decline of the industry. It also give TRIN the chance to hedge on any spike in price over the next two years. The west coast assets are certainly in line for development and could add 2000 BPD quite easily so I wonder if this additional drilling/production comes under this deal.....or can be slipped into this deal. Another final point is that once you have suspended the tax it does mean that you have to reintroduce it and that is much more difficult from a political stand point than simply letting it roll...which has been their tactic up until now. A step forward with more to come. | pavey ark
05/10/2020 22:07 | Exactly Naf! | galaga
05/10/2020 22:05 | All pretty academic. I doubt we will see WTI above 50, for a sustained period, in the next couple of years so a hollow gesture | nafafa
05/10/2020 21:38 | HH, exactly, they did what they said they would in difficult times. As PA discusses for the big projects to go ahead the individual licensing terms would be negotiated and would only go ahead if those terms were commercially attractive. Lots more to come over the coming months I am sure. | mark10101
05/10/2020 21:27 | The only saving grace is we have bundles in the bank and that will keep us going until next update in a few days | aimmafia
05/10/2020 21:16 | 3280 x average 39 dollars per barrel this quarter. 20 dollars per barrel per day profit x 3280 x 90 days equates to approximately 6 million profit - I suspect based on the above they would add another 2 to 3 million cash to the pot so cash in hand of 22 million and capitalised at 33.5 million. I cannot understand the mathematics above. based on above and hopefully some clarification from management tomorrow price should be marginally up I suppose. | bubloo
05/10/2020 21:12 | Walter you are correct Sir! 8:30am mass sells coming! | galaga
05/10/2020 21:05 | Trin have worked with current spt and will work with this one | spellbrook |
