14/9/2019 12:30 | Couple of useful links, one specific to Miton, one more related to small caps (in Miton’s view). Personally, I agree that all my small caps will explode upward once some kind of Brexit deal is done or Art 50 delayed/revoked with 3 years of uncertainty and investment plans on hold suddenly being uncorked! No political view intended, just a view on likely effects on share prices of small caps. | bones
14/9/2019 12:23 | Lets see if punt of the week can help us break into 13p and then onto 15p | spellbrook
14/9/2019 12:14 | Mind you, I have not seen Miton on the 3% list in the last few years. They were down for 4.5% in 2014 but that pre-dated the blow up and recapitalisation. Nonetheless, I bet they are liquidating what they have. | bones
14/9/2019 12:13 | Interesting...thanks Bones | marvelman
14/9/2019 12:03 | Ah yes Miton sellers of Stobart bigtime. One of Woodford’s. | nocents
14/9/2019 11:58 | If you are looking for a culprit who may be selling down regularly, Miton would be a good bet. They are busy selling down many of their illiquid stocks due to a redemption problem a la Woodford style. Note that Tracy’s generic reply reproduced in an earlier post made passing reference to redemptions by funds. Miton are playing havoc with a few of my holdings :( | bones

13/9/2019 17:36 | Pedigree. No bull. Yes. Have held Trinity since day one of existence. Your timing is indeed spot on here. Wish I had bought now !! | nocents
13/9/2019 17:14 | Welcome Pedigree...looks like your timing could not have been any better | marvelman
13/9/2019 16:50 | Looking forward to the next few months. Have not been a holder long but looks a very solid bet from here. | pedigree_scum
13/9/2019 15:52 | Tracy is very reliable and honest. | nocents
13/9/2019 14:41 | Yes, I didn't expect anything more really but very pleased to get a timely and detailed response while also making the company aware that even us peripheral PI's do notice these things as I am pretty sure they do. | marvelman
13/9/2019 14:05 | It’s not really her place to have an answer. She only speculates like the rest of us. But she does suggest ot is nothing to do with the company. She normally never comments at all on the market. Often siggrsts low volume causing high sensitivity. I feel she has done her best. | nocents
13/9/2019 13:36 | It's s standard email she's sending to everyone. Answers nothing | imjustdandy
13/9/2019 12:48 | Reply from Tracy..nothing confidential so I will post in full:- James, Thanks for getting in touch, understand your frustration. As you know there are often many reasons behind a seller (be that an institution or an individual), i.e. in the case of an institution it could be that they’ve taken a view on the market as a whole or a sector in general or they may have redemptions in their fund and are therefore a forced seller. From an individuals perspective they may need to raise cash for tax reasons, a change in circumstances etc as I’m sure you’re more than aware of. Indeed, any feedback we’ve had where there has been selling in the past has been that it has been based on factors unrelated to the company. Unfortunately, with smaller companies it does not take much volume to have a disproportionate impact and we are in a situation where sentiment is negative across the market. In regards to announcements on holdings, these are only made when a holder notifies the company when they have moved by a certain percentage. It is required that holders notify us (and we then update the market) when holdings (voting rights) exceed or fall below 3% (this would be > or < 11.5m shares in Trinity’s case) and each 1% above 3% up to 100%. So whilst sells of 100k shares seem a lot in order to trigger a 1% move it would have to total over 3.8m (c.1%) shares by a 3%+ holder. So if a seller holds less than 3% we would not necessarily notify us or the market. In case it’s useful context, Trinity’s daily trading volume is not out of line from its AIM listed production led peer group, where over the past 3 months Trinity’s average volumes have increased whilst the peer average has actually decreased. As a percentage of Free Float (FF): 1m TRIN 0.5% vs. PEER AVE 0.3%, 3m TRIN 0.4% vs. PEER 0.3%, 12m TRIN 0.4% vs. PEER 0.3%. So we are seeing thin markets across the sector and there tends then to be more pronounced impacts with small volumes having a heightened effect especially when institutional/many investors are sitting back and watching what will happen with the markets in general in regards Brexit etc (preserving capital) and therefore not necessarily supporting their shareholdings. As a management team we continue to focus on delivering operationally and financially whilst we also work to raise the profile. Please don’t hesitate to come back if you have any queries at any stage and I appreciate these things can seem opaque so if you think a call would help talk things through in more detail please don’t hesitate to call. All the best, Tracy | marvelman
13/9/2019 12:47 | wwick...havn't counted (another 2 x 100k in the last 2 hours) but this has gone on for ages so has to be a large holder. Whether its a 3% disclosable...who knows. | marvelman
13/9/2019 12:25 | Are the bars the number of trades in that month? | nocents
13/9/2019 12:21 | I.e 16m per month average at end of 6 months to Aug 1st? | nocents
13/9/2019 12:19 | Mo ing average. Like share prices in TA. Does that mean 16m shares is the updated average of trades over last 6 months? | nocents
13/9/2019 12:10 | sorry, moving average | wwick |
