I Absolutely agree 100% Mark! Absolute necessity to raise! They had 9million in the kitty in June and had a 8 well drilling campaign commencing July 2018! There's no way financially they could've paid the CLN , performed all opex and capex spending ! The company is much stronger now thanks to the actions taken last June! Thank you Bruce

I agree guys ! I didn't invest in the company when it's debt ridden! Let's look at the future! Forget the past! The company is much stronger financially and operational due to the actions taken to clear the CLN!

Nocents when you say "write but wrong, they didn't drill last year"! Are you speaking about Trinity???? Did they not carry out an 8 well drilling campaign commencing Q3 2018???????

Pilonv. Respectfully meant again. Right but wrong. They didn’t drill last year at all. Conserved cash. Had plenty. Could’ve paid BIR/MEEI and CLN holders all off and drilled this year. But taking intpoaccount Saudi and Trump’s Kashoggi-based pact last year who knows?? But I suspect we would mot have gone below 18p at all last year without Placing. Haws are cheap. Hedging not pricey. Onshore drilling can is capex based and they get big credits and no royalties first year. Placing is done. But we must respect the damage ir did . And it really did trust me. Trust as well as money and peoples’ lives.
Hey...splitting hairs. They did what they did. I was only encouraging respect for those whe suffered from a ( still) controversial Placing.
Trin are finally communicating their hyper-efficiency and crazy cpst-cutting and the dumasses controlling AIM have no choice but to raise prices.
Trin vivet.

Oilinvestor, my personal belief is it was an absolute necessity to raise, certainly with hindsight. Maybe a smaller raise at a less aggressive discount, but given Petrotrin restructuring and the delayed payment of $6m, coupled with crashing oil drilling in Dec 18, it would have been very testing without the raise.

Anyway guys let’s try and leave the past where it belongs and focus on the future!

You've been invested in this company years longer than me so you may be right (I researched every report for weeks before buying). If they used cash they had they wouldn't have any cash to do last year's drilling campaign or this year ! They only had around $9 million in June 2018. The fundraiser allowed them to remove the dilutive CLN and also drill to grow the company. Smart move by Bruce & co.

Oilinvestor . You are right and wrong. Respectfully meant. They could have paid off the CLN’s with cash in hand. But I support your post ...we just need to respect others’ histories.
You as a new investor are clued-in and welcome. No better company.
We cauterised ones just let off steam as not fully healed up.

Been a shareholder for over a year from 10p to 27p and back. Just trying to inject a bit of realism. They have options and 26 percent so i personally don't see the purchase of lack of as an issue

Marvel man & othersYou'll be fine over the long term! This is a well run company with good management! There actions regarding the placing was for the benefit of the company! Had they not done that, you would have been diluted into an oblivion at 6p by the convertible notes! The company is now debt free , cash rich and operationally very active! As long as you are willing to hold medium term, you should be fine. As far as having coffee & biscuits with them, they could hardly tell you : "oh by the way we are planning a discounted placing to cover the loan notes next month"! It had to be done the way it was done. They couldn't do it at a higher price or they would've. Good luck with your investments, this isn't a bad company !

Mustbefunny. No pffence but how well do you know Trin?
26% is owned by directors !!
Options depend on share price reaching 35p and pitperforming peer group by specified amount. Bruce gets paid more in a year than I have ever seen in my life but that’s the way the world goes round. He holds a massive ampunt at a 58% loss. Maybe he doesn’t need it like I do. But to cut a long story short they own 26% in shares! On a loss.
