Is this the last day to apply for placing shares? 2pm today is the latest I have heard.

I think Esmeralda is right, and me barking at wrong tree.

I am wondering that in the event of what will clearly be a way oversubscribed result that the BOD may increase the raise to accommodate as frequently occurs in these matters.

Yes I believe that will be the case Esmerelda. I am also with Iweb. Will be interesting as it would seem that a percentage will be the only way to ensure an equal distribution....note that I did not say fair :-))

I am sure my broker iwebsharedealing makes one consolidated application for all its clients who applied and not individual applications for each person. After all the shares are not in my name but theirs. Then they will decide how to distribute whatever they are allocated. So TRIN will have a lot of large applications from brokers and a few small ones from certificated shareholders. IMHO of course.

I hear you also, marvelman. I bought a shedload to double my holdings at what I thought was a bargain price of 21p in the week before the placing. Doh! So, I had to add yet more at 16p. Hopefully, the averages will work out eventually!

I do agree Bones as I said in my post fairness is not a consideration and have never expected it from this or any other BOD's. As I said, I will take the crumbs that the those in the driving seat throw at me and take them home whilst touching my forelock accordingly. I can only regret that my timing (i.e. holding on the day) was unfortunate but that's the risk we all take...timing is everything.

marvelman, rich people drive a big Rolls Royce because they can afford to buy one AND they can take up more than one space in a car park in it! Whilst many less well off might complain, the fact is that:

1) If the many had the money, they too would probably buy the Rolls Royce;
2) As the many are not in a position to buy the Rolls Royce, they have to make do with the Ford/Nissan/whatever.

I am really not sure fairness is the issue. If you were a big investor with connections, you too would have a large lump at 15p coming your way. The company needs the big money so it favours those with it. Ultimately it's supply and demand, not state planning for the masses :)

'Tis the way of the world. No point complaining about the driver of the Rolls Royce, but enjoy the Ford Mondeo for what it is :)

Well just as this process has been from the start, fairness to PI's has not been a consideration and I am not expecting the management to change now. We will get whatever crumbs they throw us and be grateful. I am still feeling the pain of that dilution and do not thank the BOD for the privilege of helping to fund investors who did not hold on the 25th but who have been able to buy in cheaply at my expense along with other loyal shareholders. Those praises now coming out from people stating this was a genius move I find laughable when they have lost such a large part of their investment in such circumstances . However, it is what it is and one has to adjust to the situation. I have added as much as I could afford at circa 16p and anything the BOD allow me to have in recompense in the auction I will be grateful for (touching forelock as I write)

Iran telling off Trump ;)

“Your tweets have driven the prices up by at least $10 per barrel,” Iran’s OPEC governor Hossein Kazempour Ardebili said in a message to Trump, carried by Iranian Oil Ministry’s Shana news service. “Pls stop it, otherwise it will go even higher!”

Trump tweeted yesterday that Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries is “doing little to help” reduce gasoline costs and “if anything, they are driving prices higher.” Despite the key member Saudi Arabia is affirming that the group and its allies will boost output, Goldman Sachs Group Inc. warned that oil is likely to lead a new rally as the market faces significant supply risks from Venezuela to Iran.

”You are hammering on good guys in OPEC,” Kazempour said. ”You are actually discrediting them and undermining their sovereignty, we expect you to be more polite.”

I would be amazed if you get 50% of what you apply for.

Ross, yes there will certainly be some chop ahead as people play musical chairs post allocation. My Dad bought some on the open market but like you going to the offer for the greater proportion. Demand will be high but there are fair ways of distributing it to the loyal PI’s this was intended for. Also remember not all brokers like Barclays are participating so that knocks a lot of unfortunate people out

SM, totally agree. If you are able to mitigate the the dilution (partly like me or fully if lucky) with new funds, I would much rather be in new TRIN than old TRIN.

Amazing that new investors have not cottoned onto the technical opportunity they have been gifted as an entry point atm, pretty confident we will be well into the 20’s in a few weeks.
