20/8/2024 10:21 | Am I missing some news from TXP? | ![]() nocents
20/8/2024 09:54 | I remain interested in TRIN, but not financially. No plans to change that. After what you have all been through, I hope you do get 68p (or better). The idea of folk staying at the table and quite possibly losing the rest on TXP just horrifies me. | ![]() arlington chetwynd talbott
20/8/2024 09:42 | Of course, clearly, LOL will have connections in t&t government, it is always the case, i encourage you to buy at 58p, to get 68p, it is good return. | ![]() astorcourt
20/8/2024 07:07 | Rejoice! One step further away from Ab76 getting what he wants and TRIN shareholders being bounced into a world of risk that the vast majority of them, quite understandably, can no longer stomach. | ![]() arlington chetwynd talbott
17/8/2024 07:34 | Yes appear to is correct. | ![]() davidblack
16/8/2024 23:35 | They appear to have raised it already - see TRIN announcement of 2 August | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 23:18 | Can LOL raise the money is the big question? | ![]() davidblack
16/8/2024 22:49 | Considering TXPs costs to date and the potential benefit of TRIN to them I can’t see the daily costs being particularly significant. And will the LO scheme document appear in August (or ever?) as LO said they expected? | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 18:53 | For Touchstone every day is a bigger bill and as it stands they cant win so why bother. Hope the Panel let the bids reset and we get a clean fight! | ![]() aimwinner
16/8/2024 18:36 | Why would TXP lapse their offer before LO produce their scheme document? | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 17:41 | I don’t let it troble me Aimwinner.Been through much worse, trust me. Thanks though. You can think and think and think about something without it troubling you.( I had to write theses on Aristotle, Socrates , Hobbes, Rousseau et all ….yawn.! lol!!) Deep thinking nourishes the soul at times and is the seed of wisdom. Just stop when you’ve had enough:-) Mr. Zippo, precisely my point!! Risk and reward are not bedmates! My point exactly. | ![]() nocents
16/8/2024 17:35 | The decline probability is clear enough. They have 2 more wells to include now though. But quite honestly, no companybis to be trusted on AIM. Which is why the ball is in TXP’s court as people say. If they don’t adapt their offer, they will burn cash to January. Not sensible. And no-one can ever count on a share price rise…especiall Trust no-one in the AIM game…..LOL or TXP. Or Trin. I await 22nd Aug. or TXP will have 4 months of paying lawyers’ holidays for 5 years. | ![]() nocents
16/8/2024 17:10 | nocents - "there must be stuff behind doors". Sometimes the danger is not seeing the wood for the trees (real or imagined). The wood is basically a TXP offer that has nothing going for it in light of the LO offer and the current TXP share price. That share price could increase on decent initial flow rates, but it will then probably decline as quickly as those flow rates. | ![]() arlington chetwynd talbott
16/8/2024 16:48 | Nocents if you can think of a way of reducing risk and increasing gain then the fund managers and financial community at large would love to hear it. | ![]() mrzippo
16/8/2024 16:18 | I was implying a strong recovery in the TXP share price which some appear to think likely | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 16:10 | nocents Dont over think it it will all be clear soon. | ![]() aimwinner
16/8/2024 16:09 | Sleepy The lawyers and brokers would love that, think of the extra costs with no guarantee of winning. For an all paper bid to be better than the 68.05p then is has to be worth at least 10% more or about 75p. This would equate to a 2.5 to 1 ratio not the 1.5 to 1 we have now | ![]() aimwinner
16/8/2024 16:01 | 3870 - alternatively TXP can wait (and hope their share price goes high enough for long enough that their offer gets accepted?) | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 15:41 | Hedging may be playing safe and reducing risk but significantly dilutes gain. It is ok to be puzzled and I don’t get why people don’t get that!!! A lot does not make sense here, even if some think it does, so there must be stuff behind doors | ![]() nocents
16/8/2024 15:38 | Agree with 3870 (Aimwinner). And nobody has to follow anybody, Ab 76 or anyone. We have the agency to decide for ourselves and don’t follow like sheep. If we do, we choose to. | ![]() nocents
16/8/2024 15:31 | The 22nd August is key. Will the Panel let Touchstone lapse their offer and then allow them to rebid on improved terms minus any irrevocables? That would seem the fair way to do it and better for holders of Trinity. It would also clear the way for any other offers to come in. | ![]() aimwinner
16/8/2024 12:49 | 8091 - it wouldn’t be Trinity, would it, if everything worked out as planned? | ![]() sleepy
16/8/2024 11:44 | Jan 24th looks like a decision date! | ![]() davidblack
16/8/2024 10:31 | There's nothing like throwing bad money after good! He admits he is down 50% at the 68p level, so somehow thinks he can hold out for it all to come good again. Well, I hope he is right but my cynicism is strong on this. Also, to think he can boss other holders around / make any difference with just 2.5% of the shares is fanciful. If the deal is so good, hand in pocket and buy more. When you've got 10% I'll listen. | ![]() thebd11 |
