The value is definitely there. Unlike some cheap AIM companies we don’t need to worry about new disruptive tech that might weaken Trinity. We don’t need to worry about trinity’s ‘brand power’. Infact we don’t really need to worry to much what tricks its competitors are upto.

Trinity is pumping oil and has a lot left in reserve. The big main variable we need to worry about is the oil price and that’s superb at the moment. With the new low tax regime introduced a few months back Trinity is probably at its most profitable ever. (Something we might not have given management’s lobbying full credit for). If people want to sell at this level so be it. But no sells of significance it’s important to note.

For the 450th time..... simply repeating every negative points you can think of then complaining about the low share price is certainly illogical ( polite version). The current share price is so disconnecred from any normal means of expressing value that the current situation at TRIN is almost irrelevant. When the shareprice is above 80p then it may be valid to examine the finer point and value of this action or that action. The point that should be stressed is that anyone buying at 40p has (in my opinion) a better than even chance of doubling their money in a reasonably short time scale."You pays your money you takes your chance"

Why not a cunning speculator pushing up the SP? The capitalization is low as turnover is. I'm hoping for a miracle?

A good post. Each point could be debated, but ut’s late.
A bidding war for Galeota? My feel is that Trinidad is just too expensive. The big players are going to Surinam, Guiana, Venezuela. Much cheaper. One big company borders Galeota and already produces. But are they interested? The present BOD lack the charisma of Bruce D, and the insights needed I feel. So I think not. Farm-in? Maybe but what’s the hurry? No-one interested before. SPT changes are better but..dum dee dum….they ain’t rushing.
Bid for company? Who?? TXP? Nope. Don’t think so.
BA success? Hopefully but a LONG wait.
The BOD have lost street-cred. Rightfully so. If Jacobin is a total flop it will go down as that is what AIM does.
A precise forward plan with short, med. and long term stimulants needs to beclaid out urgently!!! Trin will be roasted if not…markets still slump factored in shares.
We need to know what they haveclearned from Jacobin and wtf they are going to do May-December 2024 to redress the shareprice. Sharegholders are cannon fodder these days. More companies went into unnecesary voluntary admin this week, and bought back day later by CEO. Just this week. Crimes which are not prosecuted in this pathetically corrupt system.
At least Trin has a strong shareholder base
Expect ANYTHING from Trin.
Expect a blinkered quick-profit market.
BA is really the way forward imo

Biggest risk to share price remains current management. management have an uncanny ability to make decisions that destroy shareholder value.

Question;

What stimulants could cause the share price to rise substantially and what are the odds of each?

Galeota bid from rival producers;
Share price effect - could see it rise to 150p

Farm out deal of Galeota- similar to above

Opportunistic bid from rival for whole company - should see share price rise to at least 100p

Oil discovery in BA - increase in production would cause share price coupled with high oil price to reset to a sensible level approaching 100p

Oil price maintains current level and first 15% distribution is made - skeptics will have to concede the share price needs to re rate or the dividend will be obscenely high. Share price will reach 60-80p.

Now what could cause the share price to fall?…

Slow further decline in bopd… this is already well factored into share price, minimal effect I’d say.

Jacobin confirmed as flop - already baked into share price.

My point being there are possibilities of substantial increases

Q1 results in 2 weeks
Jacobin update. Galeota update fwiw with Trin.
ARPrice $71.5
Confirmation of dividend but they ought to raise it as 15% of cash generation was pledged.
No SPT but add insurance.
A crucial update if the BOD wish to stay in seat I feel.

Hopefully history repeats itself. Touchstone was fluctuating between 0.20 to 0.30 CAD in 2019. On February 2021 they reached the high of 3.00 CAD. Would be happy to see double or trice with TRIN to get rid of it.
The actual low share price is really a course. To develope Galeota they need some sort of equity raising, or paying services with shares. Cannot do it, The share price is too depressed. Oil discoveries at Buenos Ayres to guarantee production long term is mandatory.

Highest oil price in a while and lowest taxes, huge oil reserves in Galeota still all there… dividends on the way and future drilling prospects all paid for without debt. Will the future be worse than today or better? I’d say at current prices no good news is baked in. We just need to sit tight, collect our dividends, cross our fingers for future drilling prospects and wait for some kind of deal with Galeota. Looks like management aren’t going anywhere, so it’s going to be a waiting game, interesting to see other AIM oilers suffering as well despite high oil prices

The share price of TRIN is very unpredictable. Thought to have purchased some shares at the ultra rock bottom price of 39.5p a couple of days ago... ane now the actual price is 38.5p!
At least the dividend of 1p is coming soon!

Major plans of management are to be implemented in 2024. They are looking forward to drill an appraisal well in Buenos Ayres as soon the cash is replenished. Same procedure as Jacobin. Hopefully more successful. And then the share price shall go up.

There is very little interest at the current price so no point in mms raising it. The company has comprehensively failed its shareholders, the share price will not recover until the current BoD are kicked out. Fat chance of that!

Something fishy here. A few miniscule sells send the price down and a much larger buy does nothing . Yet again. 37p??
It is not a balanced market. Oil is exploding in price. Yes SPT is a problem now, but it is inly one variable.
Brent $91.5 .
Very twisted market.

Another topic are the geological survey maps management bought for a lot of money. Now I understand because it took so much time to interprete the data. The maps were not so accurate/modern standards therefore they had to hire costly experts to make the best of it. For sure the results are not so good as new studies done with modern equipment. Obviously they wanted to save money but the results are questionable at least.

That was my buy on 2nd April! I have lost a quite big amount and it induced me to be cruel and bid low which in the end was successful. Made some profit with gold miners so I decided to average down the purchasing price.

I took some time to read 2 refinitive reports, the discussion about the 3rd quarter results on 27th Oct. and the transcript of the analyst conference on 19th Dec.
I got some interesting information about the situation on the ground and the goals of Management.
Finally I expected that they continue to to what they have done until now. Drilling wells into the upper cruise as are the actual producing wells. Now with Jacobin they
changed objective: they wanted to drill deeper into the middle and the lower cruise.
Those deposits are under greater pressure therefore more production because of better flow. They wanted also to study the geology in the deep. A quite innovative and transformative approach, I would say. Then they explained the various problems they incurred and why they are still evaluating the impact of Jacobin.
For the technical staff of TRIN such a drilling campaign is challenging as they need outside expertise and material. Therefore a time and money consuming issue.
About Galeota the chief engineer is aware of the lack of capital of this tiny company to raise the funds and they also do not have the expertise. But if they let make the work on command it would be to costly. Their strategy has been to have Petrofac made an assessment how to exploit Galeota. Now it is the work of the TRIN staff to assemble the crews and materials from outside to form a team to unlock the value of the asset. Of course also the financial issues. The CEO gave information about the current state of the existing business, all as usual. The effort is to replenish the cash to start the new projects.
I would have expected they would direct their efforts and continue to drill the upper cruise enhancing production with more chances of success.

Remarkable how it takes one sell to plummet the price, but a stream of decent buys do not dent it ( today). AIM really is a rigged casino. And when it does go up, it is sold into and comes back down again.
Yes it has been one of those days.
Start again tomorrow!
