13/6/2024 07:07 | Any thoughts on what to replace this with in a portfolio? | bagpuss67
13/6/2024 07:02 | Not a great outcome for long-term shareholders, especially considering the lost opportunity cost of holding this vs others in the last 18-24 months. Obviously a good deal for anybody buying in the last 9-months. | catabrit
13/6/2024 07:02 | In 2 years time the lithium price could be on the floor and LAC will still be struggling to get a mine built? This investment has been disappointing and I'm happy to be out. | swanvesta
13/6/2024 06:58 | Nooòooooooooo | sword77
13/6/2024 06:50 | Another one going far too cheaply. Disappointing. | the deacon
08/6/2024 16:29 | Majority of TRR shares are held by other funds like Blackrock BRWM. TRR is one of the lowest valued royalty companies at 50% of NAV. In around 2 years it will start paying a dividend and the mcap will rise to 100% of NAV. It may not be a linear rise. | dumbpunter
04/6/2024 10:27 | It was published on 23rd May. TRR up 10%+ since then, but LAC is down c.14%. No response from the company either to the report. | mwj1959
04/6/2024 10:03 | Has anyone noticed this short attack on LAC/Thacker Pass? hTTps//www.bleeckers It doesn’t look that helpful to TRR. | rubberduck104
04/6/2024 08:09 | Yes, I agree. A near 30% rise over past month now. Delighted to see it, but somewhat surprised given the lack (in my opinion) of price moving news flow. However, there has been more volume recently compared to previous months, which has probably contributed. Still very much a jam tomorrow stock and the challenge for investors will be what to do if the stock keeps on rising. It's struggled to stay above the 50p level in the past...and that was when lithium prices were a lot higher. | mwj1959
03/6/2024 21:14 | Its a funny old world. i don't see that TRR is an 18% better bet now than it was a month ago, though I can't say that I saw any real justification for its long period of decline either. | 1knocker
31/5/2024 12:02 | TRR Up 3.75% today and is undergoing a recovery as it’s Up 18% in the month of May. | 888icb
24/5/2024 08:49 | Pretty significant then. Reading a lot about copper and am lazily wondering how if any of you more learned ones know what we have in copper? | robsy2
24/5/2024 08:20 | I think that's worth around $2m pa for the next 5 years58.5 x 2300 gold price x 1.5% assumed "margin" | donald pond
24/5/2024 07:34 | Excellent timing for us given the gold price.Just about the only bluey in my portfolio this morning. | husbod
23/5/2024 12:26 | Excellent . Thanks for the update Deacon. | robsy2
23/5/2024 11:57 | First gold pour at Greenstone - confirmed by Equinox today | the deacon
15/5/2024 06:13 | I take a much simpler view of this share and have no interest in big player comparables, their prospects are good, should the price eventually reach 60-70p and they start to pay dividends as the company matures, a 3% dividend yield at 60-70p gives me a 6% yield on my book cost and a decent capital gain which is why I invested and on a long term view. | nickelmer
14/5/2024 21:44 | The likes of Wheaton are worth a premium, given they've circa $2bn+ in available firepower and the lowest cost of capital in the industry. For the smaller players, the accretive bar is a lot higher than it was just 2 years ago. As far as NAV is concerned, only the mid and top tier precious metals royalty and streamers are trading at a premium. 6 months or so ago, Rick Rule was asked whether the diversified players would ever enjoy the premiums that are afforded the likes of Wheaton and Franco. He was adamant that they wouldn't. At present, only Altius in the diversified royalty space enjoys a premium to their stated NAV (more often than not now they're reaching meaningful scale). The rest of the diversified sector as well as the smaller precious metals players are at a discount to NAV. Thacker Pass is key to Trident reaching meaningful scale that will allow them to dine with the big boys. Until then I suspect the discount will remain. | the deacon
14/5/2024 20:08 | An NAV based on a NPV is a nonsense price to pay for a share. It amounts to paying up front for all discounted future income. What mug wanting a profit on his investment would do that ? It's a lazy (elastic) way to 'value' (and gives a greatly inflated price for a company to trumpet, and for brokers to flog) and is never remotely approached in practice except, perhaps, in early days (as for TRR) when a share is not easy to value and is run up on speculation. TRR will eventually (when in regular, foreseeable, profit) be valued on a PER or yield basis, like WPM and the like. | lurker5

13/5/2024 13:48 | TRR Up 3.19% today continuing the positive progress we have seen since the start of May. The discount to NAV remains difficult to fathom. | 888icb
10/5/2024 21:05 | There was a late reported 400k sell at 11am | ukgeorge
10/5/2024 13:16 | Just checked the Trident shares traded today so far, around 40 people have bought a total of around 275,000 shares. Only 4 shares sold, but that total about 300,000. So who is it that is doing their utmost to stop Trident from going any higher than it is today? Does anybody know? They have been doing it for a very long time now. | thomscm2
