What more do they have to do to convince the market, this stock may be hugely undervalued currently

More Director purchases is a positive sign. The Chairman has bought more following his purchase earlier in the week and the CFO has also purchased.

A very impressive vote of confidence by the Chairman of 350000 shares taking his holding to 2.7% of the company. The Chairman knows how undervalued this company is and this is a clear signal to investors that they may wish to follow his lead.

Decent director buy. This is undervalued on every measure but so are many other commodity and renewable stocks. Really like the idea behind royalties but not sure what will get this moving again

I don't care about dividends. I just want the company to grow. Gold and silver are doing very well, copper recovering. It would be good to stop being perceived as a lithium play

Some clear hints about potential dividend commencement in the past 2 investor meet company webinars. Most likely dividends will start late 2026. It could be 2027. It's all currently about growth & increasing cash flow from royalties over the next 24-30 months.

Grateful if somebody could offer a 101 on how the variability of the Lithium price will work in practice in terms of the royalty. I get the assumption of a $25,000 Lithium price and how that achieves $10.5M at Phase 1 and $21M at full production, but how is price applied in real time? Is it an average price during an agreed period (eg quarter)? Or is it the actual price achieved by the producer?

Quite so. Can't sit around for three years doing nothing. The gentlemen in the Far East have played a cunning long game exploiting, amongst other things, Westerners short term greed (the sale of Sonera at a steal being a prime example) so that they now dominate the market for the minerals required for large scale electrification. This in turn enables them to swamp the market, and lower prices to a level where western companies can't compete. It is certainly the case with lithium so the fact that the US government is backing TP is a massive advantage which will cancel out the CCPs cunning plan. We couldn't have a better lithium royalty imo and hopefully in three years time the lithium price will at least have partially recovered. The only potential problem is if an alternative to lithium based batteries is discovered. And they are working on this as we speak.

TP is key to any sustainable dividend policy. We are unlikely to see anything prior to Thacker Pass contributing. In the meantime, Trident needs to focus on growing

Yes RNS announcement made.

"We anticipate first production from Thacker Pass within three years and the associated royalty payments thereafter. As previously disclosed, we expect Thacker Pass royalty receipts to have a dramatic impact on our revenue, with $10.5 million generated per year at Phase 1 production and a $25,000 lithium price, increasing to $21 million per year at Phase 2."

These current estimates would certainly make a huge difference in a few years. There is also the possibility of selling the royality at some point.

It is the nature of royalty companies that some of their cash flows are in the future and it has always been the case that Thacker Pass won’t start producing until 2026. However a royalty has a value before it produces cash flow and the value of the Thacker Pass royalty will have just increased substantially on todays derisking of the financing of the project.
Fortunately our gold royalties and offtake agreements are producing cash and that will increase with the strong rising gold price. Equinox Gold large new Greenstone mine is about to go into production and TRR has an offtake agreement in place as it does over a number of Equinox Gold mines. Trr also has income producing royalties over copper and iron ore.
I imagine TRR will issue an RNS about todays news from Lithium America and Adam will follow that up with interviews to further explain its importance to the value of the Royalty.

I wholeheartedly agree. However TP makes up the most sizeable proportion of TRR's NAV. The key here is the derisking. The $20m+ per annum for many many decades once TP is operational has taken a big step forwards

Lithium Americas has received a conditional commitment (“Conditional Commitment”) from the U.S. Department of Energy (“DOE”) for a $2.26 billion loan under the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (“ATVM”) Loan Program (the “Loan”) for financing the construction of the processing facilities at Thacker Pass, targeting to produce an initial 40,000 tonnes per year (“tpa”) of battery grade lithium carbonate (“Phase 1”). The expected Loan plus General Motors Holdings LLC (“GM”) strategic investment are expected to provide the vast majority of the capital necessary to fund Phase 1.”

That is an extract from the announcement. This is obviously very good news for TRR’s royalty as the project is greatly derisked with all phase 1 financing sorted.

Copper starting to breakout too. Price here very frustrating and I wish we had less lithium but even so, if we get the commodity bull should do very well

I guess lithium sentiment dominates investor thinking about TRR given the Thacker Pass exposure. But current revenues primarily gold royalties. As ever sentiment dominates over fundamentals but that could offer a chance to add on the dip
