04/9/2023 09:19 | The Mexican appropriation is a major positive for future lithium prices. | ccpag
04/9/2023 09:05 | agree on uranium... on volatility i looked it up - first definition by google ....The term “price volatility” is used to describe price fluctuations of a commodity. Volatility is measured by the day-to-day percentage difference in the price of the commodity..... so yes ... whole world is in a rush to increase lithium mining - hence /among other things/ prices are declining towards long term economic equilibrium... so each another change to the down - by above definition is volatility... agree again | kaos3
04/9/2023 08:31 | I think all we can say about lithium is that it is very volatile. We have enough though. Some uranium would be nice now! | donald pond
04/9/2023 07:37 | lithium chart - compare to the RNS data for a perspective | kaos3
04/9/2023 07:14 | Another north american lithium royalty to add to Thacker. Dandoka also completes which may part explain the share price fall on Friday as they have issued new shares at 41p. Copper next please, preferably Florence Arizona (Taseko) | rimau1
03/9/2023 12:30 | when i pointed out our CEO renumeration cca 3 years ago i was shot down by - he is worth it, fair payment, despite TRR small operation back then it will be interesting to observe /he was fairly priced back then regarding for his professional capacity - by some opinions - i had non but his pay/TRR size / will we start to observe a rise in his renumeration because suddenly he will become better professional as a CEO and at what point this possible pay increase independent of TRR size will occur CEO pay/TRR size was a non starter his abilities/pay counted will this concept remain same as the Co growths or will it change .... | kaos3
01/9/2023 14:46 | short term trading chart as i see it ... | kaos3
01/9/2023 14:28 | The annual report shows CEO took a whopping half a £million salary in 2022 ($616,000) Shares currently worth £130k, 25% of pay, same ratio of someone on £30k owning £7.5k. Seems like the incentive is the pay packet not the shares? 330,000 shares and 2,100,000 in-the-money options so no reason to buy in the market 225,000 @37p 625,000 @28p 625,000 @24p 625,000 @20p | dead duck resources
01/9/2023 13:39 | Topped-up. | catabrit
01/9/2023 13:31 | The Board have been buying a few shares and I wouldn't be surprised to see that happen again now. Thacker Pass royalty alone should be worth many multiples of current market value. Hopefully GM will accelerate the mine development with all their political clout | robertspc1
01/9/2023 12:52 | ... The announcement knocked its share price down 7 per cent on Friday morning. Liberum analyst Ben Davis said earlier in the week Trident had basically no exposure to the permit cancellation given it can claw back a $2.5mn (£2mn) deposit paid in relation to a royalty. | zho
01/9/2023 11:57 | Porsche - you’re ignoring opportunity cost, career wise. Adam is hugely incentivised via his options which basically become worthless unless the share price moves meaningfully from here. On a risk-adjusted basis, unless Trident becomes the success we all think and hope it will be, setting the thing up has been a disaster for him personally. I’m sure he and others will top up but we can’t forget that directors have mortgages, kids and other claims on their salaries like the rest of us. He comes from a PE background and PE is very cushty for senior executives when you take into account salary, bonus and carry in deals and the low risk of the first two considering the long duration of funds and the demand for alternative assets. He’s betting his career on this thing. | catabrit
01/9/2023 11:34 | I would really like to see Adam Davidson have a greater holding (according to Sharepad, he currently holds 330k shares). He presents really well and has a very good profile, but I would like to see him more invested. Hope he sees this as an opportunity to buy! | porsche boxster
01/9/2023 11:34 | Great opportunity to buy more today. I have upped my holding significantly as this is non news today. | pedigree_scum
01/9/2023 11:19 | Heaven knows what the 'real value' is. What wouldn't I give for a crystal ball. I bought a bit either side of 40, quite a few more at 48, sold out at 58 and repurchased at 56, and today paid my lowest ever purchase price to top up at 38.4. And I have only been in TRR a couple of years! They all seemed reasonable transactions at the time, though I feared I was being too clever with the sale and was relieved to get back in with a small profit on the turn. FOMO cost me a fair bit there.... if only I had a crystal ball I'd be laughing! Ecora has provided an even bumpier ride, notwithstanding that it has been around a lot longer and pays a worthwhile dividend. | 1knocker
01/9/2023 10:25 | I suppose the AIM indices more or less show up to a 45% drop over the last couple of years......and more or less down to March '20 lock down panic levels...(which subsequently recovered by 100% plus)......but as I say we're back down for a bit! But it won't be like this for ever...and being able to buy at about a 40% discount to real value....makes sense IMO! GLA | sipptrader88
01/9/2023 10:17 | RNS 270122 Trident is funding the initial US$2.5 million deposit by way of an interest-free loan (the "Loan") to the Buyer. The Loan is repayable to Trident on completion of the Transaction, or such time as the Sale and Purchase Agreement or Joint Venture Agreement otherwise terminates. The full amount of the loan is repayable should the Transaction complete; however, the Buyer may retain US$250,000 of the loan if the litigation is found in favour of the Estate and Trident elects not to fund its pro-rata share of the consideration. The Buyer was Sonoroy Holdings, the JV established by TRR with Marmottes Capital. The JV then paid $2.5M to the Seller the Estate of Colin Orr-Ewing (the "Estate" or "Seller")as a deposit for the royalty. So looks to me that if the JV terminates, TRR get repaid the loan. Maybe that depends on the JV recovering it from the Colin Orr-Ewing Estate...or maybe not.. | melody9999
01/9/2023 09:59 | Maybe the market is concerned that we won't get our £2.5m back if the mine doesn't go ahead. Is that money in an escrow account or just the general pot I wonder. | husbod
01/9/2023 09:58 | Added a few too. Agree this could push lithium prices higher and increase value of the Thacker royalty in the medium term | robertspc1
01/9/2023 09:54 | Bought a few more today at 38.4 | 1knocker
01/9/2023 09:49 | today i added TRR at the same price i bought trr in 2021 same price, different value thank you mr. Market | kaos3
01/9/2023 09:38 | Trident is being affected by the malaise affecting the whole market...many asset driven investments are seeing their discounts widen. | stevenlondon3
01/9/2023 09:32 | Seems odd that the share price dropped so much today on news that I thought was priced in a few days ago. seems we're well enough protected and with our other projects and cash in bank.......should we be at a yearly share price low? I would have thought this is a good price level to top up. I have today! GLA | sipptrader88
01/9/2023 09:30 | I always thought that if TRR were successful with one of their lithium plays, that would be a result. And it looks like that is the way it is playing out - full steam ahead at Thacker whilst looks like Sonora is hitting the buffers. | melody9999 |
