I know what you mean about noise coming from engines. I hate the sudden spike in noise when you rev a petrol / diesel engine.

An all round quieter solution must be out there……

I have been on a few of the electric buses locally and the whine from the motors is very disconcerting. Thank goodness the trips were quite short.

I would not say Grindy but more of a whining noise as you accelerated .
RJ said that this was relatively easy to fix when production took place but I did notice the noise .
At one of the agms I did also get the chance to hear the lawn mower working with the IVT engine and that had a similar noise.

King1 I heard the trk gearbox was a smooth drive but sounded a bit “grindy”. Was that your experience?

TRK and NXT ahh those were the days , I still have my Keff kit 100 with NXT tech embedded into the speakers still working well, absolute steal for prob £10k investment and I did drive the TRK IVT for over a hour around Leyland and around the test track next door to the head office .
Just like driving electric being honest but for me a big loss as investment .

NXT and TRK both tried licensing route and failed - cos would buy a licence, even with an exclusivity period, then do nothing - TRK then fell foul of changing auto tech EVs rendering their product/tech dead.

To be fair 20 plus years of trying to get pure licensing to turn a profit would say that was not the right approach. Very very hard to make that work in industrial/automotive. Current team has extensive real product and manufacturing business experience.

My concern is that I have seen companies with great products before, who then stumble when it comes to scaling up and going into large scale production. I just hope we have the requisite skill set to see it through.

Some of my TRT shares are held as certificates too, for example the first time I bought was in the July 2015 placing at 1.5p (equivalent to 75p/share post consolidation). In December 2016 following the 50:1 consolidation I was sent a new replacement certificate reflecting an increase in the nominal value of the shares from 1p to 50p and a 50 fold reduction in the number of shares.

looking at the shareprice history, I suspect you purchased your shares for around about £1/share in October 2007, in which case you would now have 344 shares which will be worth around about 185p/share (£635)

I suggest you check out your bottom draw to see if you have a replacement certificate, if you haven't, you will need to contact Neville registrars and get a replacement, otherwise you (or your executors) will not be able to sell the shares:

It would seem all the hard work is coming to fruition. Great news further opening the automotive possibilities. The long term scale could be huge. 30 month project so we are looking 4 years into future for cash but then at a potential total game changer.
