Mattjos, the income here and number of new clients is not greatly improved upon since you expressed a rather more bearish view. I’d be interested to hear what has caused you to change your outlook. This is a serious question btw, my losses here don’t give much cause for levity. MC.

last week was highly weekly volume ever recorded for the company so 'something' went on in terms of shareholding and expect another Holdings declaration shortly.
clearly 'Value' funds have taken / are taking an interest & I believe they are correct. Current Mkt Cap looks very attractive.
All hope abandoned by PI's, most have long, long gone, thread is mainly populated by tumbleweed .. an ideal time to sneak in and scoop up a good sized holding for the future.

Arrival of Harwood Capital on the register looks like an indicator of value.

Yes, of course but, still looks cheap, mkt cap v revs + carry forward losses, for a tech company growing recurring revs

Results are generally out late September.
As ever it will be the prospects going forward that will be key to shareprice recovery.

The real issue though is incorrect pressures. Not helped by everything the EU legislated, the same legislation that the US chose and the EU protested about. The same legislation introduced in 2012-2014 that has failed to improve fatality rates on EU highways. Incorrect pressures account for approximately 5,000 road deaths each year across the EU. So in short, the EU are directly responsible for circa 5,000 deaths in the EU each year, or about 20,000 so far simply because they caved in to lobbying and at best fallacious representations from certain industry participants, with vested interests.

Judging by the number of balding car tyres I see on cars and trucks + the fact that most people seem to lack any sort of common sense these days or any practical ability whatsoever, I believe there are huge numbers of people who never check their tyres other than when car goes for service or if they get flat tyre. Most people never check oil or even know how to do this ... they just wait for a warning light or for service. On that basis, yes, there are a lot of morons about

Mattjos: Is that proposed marketing system just for morons?!

I had two new tyres put on my car on Monday. I didn't need anyone to phone me up and warn me about it - I simply looked at the tyres and could see that the tread was getting a bit low. I didn't even need to ensure that my local tyre fitter had the right tyres .... he ordered them for me the previous Friday.

In fact, if someone had wasted my time by calling me to tell me that my tyres were getting low, I don't think I would have been too impressed!

.... but maybe that's just me!!

I recall management saying something about the importance of data before, but you could always contact them and see if your thoughts are chiming. I’m guessing the AGM should be announced soon too.

Hello hello. Big volume and v tight stock. Highest daily reported volume since Feb 14, when share price was equivalent of 66p.

Was impossible to buy here all morning .. not even 20 shares were available online. Closing only on IG also (likely due to small mkt cap though).
Personally doubt we will see this offered at 35p again.
£4m mkt cap or just 2xFY Revs, is simply too low at this juncture. The company does have a decent 'moat' around its proposition.

From FY17 results; "The Company has UK tax losses available to carry forward at 30 June 2017 of approximately GBP18.7m, subject to HMRC agreement"

That has a value, which ever you way view the business. Likely be £19m now

1 x £2m Revs & £19m carry forward tax losses = £21m. That affords a decent safety net for any would-be buyer for the entire company at £4m mkt cap now.
I believe 3-4 x Revs for the emergent business model is more realistic just now ie. 50-70p+

£18m losses alone equates to £1.50 / share

Anyway, lets see what results bring in couple of weeks ... I added during August

Was thinking the other day about the iProbe product.
If that was used every time you took a vehicle into service you could record tyre depths all round .. store in the cloud together with annual mileage &, based on average tyre wear data, contact the recorded keeper as/when the data suggests minimum tyre depth is likely reached. That ability to make contact & make an advisory on tyres, also represents a Marketing opportunity for a tyre vendor / fitter.
They could ensure the correct tyre is available, local to the vehicle & make a booking slot available for the customer. That is a very smart & very simple system that clearly offers value to all participants.
All data has a value and the larger the dataset, the larger the value. iTrack data has a value and as the installed base grows, so too the size & value of the dataset.
This has the potential to slowly morph into a high value, global, data-analytics business and the gatekeeper to that data is their unique enabling hardware. The datasets will be gold-dust to tyre OEM's and tyre fitting operations.
I hope management see the opportunity as I do.

8/5/18 RNS: "...It will see Transense provide 16 iTrack II mining tyre monitoring systems for large haul trucks at Somita, a mine owned by Nordgold in Burkina Faso..."

Translogik twitter 17/7/18: iTrack II now live in Burkina Faso.

Assume the recurring revs from this install will start this month

AMT... VRS as well eh? Golly! ;-)

NiM, A_L_S, Mattjos... They're seeing something that the rest of us can see, but others don't.
Probably some off-market trades. History relates.

Both Harwood & Criseren appear to have similar investment philosophy. It's only a tiny position for Harwood at this stage but, let's see if they do as Criseren have done and build it up from here.On first inspection, most would query why both/either have invested here at all but, they must see something that most do not, given they have clearly both been patiently accumulating at the lows.Curious to know whether stock has come from other notifiable holders or, been picked up piecemeal in the market.

He's certainly known for being activist and selling businesses off to deliver value, let's hope that's what he has planned for TRT.

Harwood is a small-to-medium-sized Mayfair-based "boutique" fund management operation.
Chris Mills has been round the block a few times - J O Hambro, Samuel Montagu and MIM Invesco.
According to the blurb on the Harwood web site:
"Harwood Capital's funds take an active interest in the running of the companies they invest in with the aim of adding significant value by changing or improving various aspects of the business. Led by Christopher Mills, with £1.1 Billion funds under management as at 31 December 2017, our Active Value funds have been producing significant returns for our investors since 1993."
and:
"Christopher Mills and his team manage a number of funds, most of which follow an active value approach, where shareholders take an active interest in the running of the businesses in which they invest."
I wonder what this might mean for Transense ...
